  2. I find it telling that Schiff only mentions the FED in the first two minutes and does nothing to tie the FED to the reason this man was fraudulently convicted and jailed. The FED makes the rules not the US gubmint.

I think I'm going to stay completely out of the market and hold absolutely no overnight positions in anything. I'm almost tempted to liquidate everything electronic and be done with it.

    That's right about OUNCES.

  12. SGS,
that whole link from sierra_hpbt takes me back to your site (today's post)... don't see the point.
Any thoughts on Jayden (JDN) in BC ? Their latest 43-101 looks promising.

  13. Can anyone tell me where is the best place to get some silver Maples or Silver Eagles ? I have been buying from Gainesville coins, but I want to know if there are cheaper places. Gainesville's premium is getting higher.

The Austrian Philharmonics have one of the lowest premium but I like the Maples better.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  15. Look: I'm not pumping my blog. I'm a stormchaser. But there are things happening that are newsworthy. You probably won't hear from me because I have relations with all the networks and I'm about to "spill the beans already genius". No kidding at all!

Get prepared for survival. I can't imagine tectonic warfare. I might just buy an airplane and keep it ready with long range tanks.

@coconutrumplus: The answers you want are on my blog. You'll have to read it yourself.

Provident metals has been one of the cheapest places I've found on the internet.. On the maples they give price breaks on those when you buy twenty five or more.. They have always delivered pretty quickly as well..

    ReplyDelete
  18. I just checked Provident Metals, and saw Maples for $42.35, which is high. You can do better.

  20. 1st - A troy ounce is not the same as an ounce - it is more and it is how precious metals are weighed: So when you see a quote for Silver or gold when it says per ounce - it means per troy ounce. This is a troy ounce of pure silver. The troy ounce is heavier than the typical grocery store (avoirdupois) ounce used in the USA. When you purchase a 1 ounce silver or gold coin, you are receiving a "troy" ounce. If you put that same 1 troy oz. coin on a grocery store scale you will find that it weighs about 10% more than the food (avoirdupois) ounce you are familiar with. It will weigh about 1.1 avoirdupois ounces. A troy ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams. Separately, the troy weight system has it's own definition of a "troy" pound. A "troy pound" contains 12 troy ounces or 373.24 grams (which is over 13 avoirdupois ounces). It is thought that the troy ounce was named after a weight system used in Troyes France during the Middle Ages.

2nd - SGS was going to include in his latest vid the potential hazard of owning silver eagles. Something to the effect that in the event of a confiscation, these eagles COULD be gubment property and susceptible to confiscation ..... SGS, please clarify as I would consider this to be a fairly important issue and I think bflowers1 would agree..... cheers

  21. goboy9: Thanks for the lesson on troy ounces. Those of us here that have extensive knowledge and understanding of silver had no clue. What does that have to do with paying $42.35US for Canadian Silver Maples? I know where I can get mine for $40.85 and even less. Is your logic to pay more? Go ahead!

Confiscation only happens to those who are timid.

And why is it that people in here don't know where to get physical bullion? I think I know the answer: Most of them are a bunch of trolls here as I have posted time and time again on my blog and here of names of dealers. They don't have any interest in gold and silver at all. Just plain trolls.

I think goboy9 has been hanging around with ohio1998 on YOU TUBE.

    Pretty scary.

  22. Wait a minute here now, a couple of blogs ago, the idea of capitol gain on silver other than Silver Eagles popped up. Now, the idea of confiscating silver eagles comes up ? WTF !!
I only bought a few of silver eagles 2011 just to commemorate the fall of US dollar in 2011. And I have been accumulating maples and other silver rounds. Now, I am pretty much confused about what to get now.... Capitol gain, PM properties taxes vs. confiscation ?!

I was thinking about buying a monster box as my next and the last purchase. The right decision must be made. I am torn between SE, Maples and the Austrian Philharmonics.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Makes me wonder if SGS and myself are the only ones who really own physical. Most of you might be all talkers. Are you really that scared? Then just go hide in a hole. Wow!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Here do this: But you're too scared probably: If you buy 1 Monster Box of Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Coins and 5 100 oz. either RCM bars or J&M bars; then when the spot price of silver hits $65 then sell all 5 of your 100 oz. bars and you will have virtually a free box of Maples. You don't like that idea? Too scary for you?

If you cannot come up with the post and have some source of credibility for the Northcom comment I will delete any further comments you make on the assumption this was to discredit or make me look like a terrorist or some ZOG shit like that. Post it up.

  27. I don't have time for worrying about comments on my little newsblog. What people post are there own and I don't care if nobody posts. You have no clue what you're talking about jigger. I have thousands of hits over there and just started the thing two weeks ago. Also did a broadcast video this morning that I sold already. You're a troll. My video was up on The Weather Channel already. That's not for you then---simple. You might see my tornado video later but I won't tell you about it. Have a nice day and yes I work too hard and I'm thankful I know how to work! I never want to "retire" and sit on my dead ass.

  29. How can I verify that a coin is not a fake? What scales would you recommend. Are some brands better than others? What other paraphernalia would I need to do my own verification. Got people in my local area who want to sale me their silver. I know I can do better than the local pawn shops. -- FluffyCone
