The last raid by EE?

They can try and paint charts patterns, throw paper at the spot price, and pretend to withdrawal physical from SLV, but the one thing they will not be able to do is print a stack of ASE's and Maples when 300 million people demand it on the same day.

Turn your Spot price monitor off, watch for my metals report tonight, that's all that matters anymore. The rest is NOISE.

Found an old picture of the Master, this should put a smile on your face and drown out the noise emanating from CNBC today.

  6. That isn't really Blythe, this picture made the rounds as an email months ago. Note the Canadian beer bottles.

Would love to see a real photo of the witch herself when her evil plans are foiled. Guess we'll have to wait (at least until March)

  9. Do not 'flip' physical. Buy stocks for that. Stash the physical away somewhere.

Guys...you arnt seriously asking if that's a real pic of her are you? LOL too funny.

  10. I think you will use your silver to purchase everything that you buy today with FRN's. the difference being instead of writing a check for 2011 Dodge 3500 cummins turbo diesel truck like I did.. you are going to go to the dealer and give them 10 silver eagles. 10 silver eagles today costs what? 350.00 bucks? nice trade eh!

  13. G'day Mr SGS,

Thanks for sharing your wisdom, it is greatly appreciated. I read all of the blogs (including Richard Russell).

So far you've called it like you see it and you've been right. If you start charging for your service, I'd be a subscriber for sure.

Is today a good day to buy physical, are we about to see a bump?

    Thanks again.

  14. Any day is a good day to buy physical. No one knows the market is going to do...it's all a guess.

  15. JACK - I'd expected someone to make that comment but I am looking for a little more insight.

The title of todays posting is " THE LAST RAID BY EE" which would imply that prices are going up tomorrow. I had planned to make a purchase on Monday (2000 oz) but maybe I need to find a way to make that purchase today.

I know it's all guess work, but I prefer Mr. SGS's guesses over mine.....he's a smart bloke!

  16. Shores: Waiting to see the live Mubarak press at 3 EST to see if she uses it for a smackdown after hours...which I'm assuming she might depending on whats said-I'm no Nostradamus for dictator speeches so I cant comment yet...Need to hold $30 on a weekly candle would be extremely bullish in the 'spot' market world. The physical world is a debacle right now, silver lease rates just soared.

That speech was interesting, I would watch CRUDE and the BRENT $15 retarded spread more than metals tonight, Friday will be a news day, check in later.

  20. any suggestions for a college student who can only afford like 23-25oz of silver :'( ???

    ReplyDelete
  21. IMHO if you can only buy 25 oz you probably better off using the money elsewhere (pay off credit card?). Physical is for buy and hold only, and as young as you are, you might be better off saving the money for a rainy day in the near future. Unless you have a good paying job lined up already...

  22. Sorry to have to ask folks, but what is EE?
new to this stuff and can't figure it out.

    Would appreciate any help.
    Thanks

  23. For the student with 750 dollar to spend, do you think you can risk all your money even if it means losing them all ?

If it is ok for you to lose, why not consider buying some silver options ? It is like gambling.
If you can guess it right, you can possibly make a lot of money. Or consider the stock SGS suggested. You can buy quite a number of shares with 750.

The flip side of the coin is you will lose all the money you have for 25oz of silver.

  24. @SGS I liked it more when you use s/he for the Master of the J P Morgue. I'm a little surprised you didn't put a picture of a male also, we can never be sure of the Master's sex.

@all Before buying physical silver, I suggest you spend the better part of 1/2 hour studying the difference between so-called "real money" and debt-based money. I'm hoping that once you realize how mind numbing and repugnant the current debt-based fractional reserve system is, you'd want out at the earliest opportunity. This is where physical silver comes in.

I'm buying physical silver because I *hate* fiat, I'm never going back to fiat ever again. The sooner the system collapses, the better. We might be able to establish a far superior system which will better our species.

@SGS has your blog reached a critical mass where a group of us can actually get together and discuss a modernized LETS? I've got plenty of server space and am more than happy to assist in setting up such a community.

It's lots of fun sitting down and speculating on factors that may realize events which may be eschatological in nature, I find it extremely unsatisfying that we're diving head first into this mess without a pragmatic exit strategy. Even if a new fiat system is devised, I don't want to be a part of it.

Why are we waiting for the same criminal narcissists to suggest a solution. I say we move forward and leave them deal with their sinking ship. I couldn't care less if their retarded system collapses.

  25. 25 oz X $500 = $12,500

I would think that 25 oz is a decent starting point. It's not the only money this person will ever have and it will introduce them to the feel of having a physical stash. If it were me I think I would start out with 90% silver coins....

    ReplyDelete
  26. well i got the 23oz when it was $28 per, but thats only less than half of my savings so i thought it would be wise to have that in physical since we're in uncertain times and idk how the job market will be once im done with school. was that a wrong decision? im not trying to get greedy i just dont want to be screwed when tuition keeps climbing up while financial aid lowers.

  28. Yes, 25 oz can go a long way. And...

    SILVER IS MONEY.

  29. @ the college kid wanting to buy silver... BUY all you can NOW. If this thing explodes in the next 60 days as we think you will be rewarded.

    ReplyDelete
  30. you can always, always sell it....i'll buy it...i would rather keep it bullion or coins than a bank paying.25.....

    ReplyDelete
  31. 1.Please explain "discuss a modernized LETS" thanks.

    2. For the college kid: tough choice, but I'll stick to saying physical ;) as far as blowing your entire chip stack on coins, your choice. Just remember one thing: You can loose 100% of share value, but you can NEVER lose 100% of the worlds most important metal.

  32. @SGS It's a pleasure to talk to you.

One of the main foundations of the current corrupt monetary system is "ignorance". Unfortunately, we have been conditioned to accept that "fiat makes the world go round". Very few people seem to be concerned about how the debt [fiat] in their pockets is manufactured. This misunderstanding manifests itself in many thinking about buying physical silver for a "profit" in fiat [if such a notion exists].

LETS stands for local exchange trading systems [1]. Very crudely, it would be a not-for-profit association run by and for its members. I suggest considering it as a starting point for any new framework. The "modern" part would be to discuss a new system that caters for our new, significantly more inter-connected reality. Realize, a "trading system" only works if everyone agrees to it [or, as we see today, are either coerced, conditioned or fooled into it].

I believe there are enough good people around the world for such a new monetary paradigm to be a viable option. I am prepared to host any forum that would perform a serious feasibility study on establishing such a framework.

The only reason the self-proclaimed narcissist elites have so much leverage is because they have [somehow] managed to mislead the masses into accepting their "ponzi scheme".

I believe the time has come to end this madness.

  34. @Yousif

I think the better mutual credit system is ripple.

    http://ripple-project.org/

It's a generalization of a LETS system. In fact, you can have a LETS system inside a Ripple network.
I think its main flaw is that all its current implementations run in a centralized server.
That make it very vulnerable to coercion from governments.
The solution is to implement it as p2p network and use public key cryptography to ensure security and privacy just like bitcoin does.

    http://www.bitcoin.org/

The incentive of the nodes in "ripple-coin" is what I have not figure out yet.

Alternative currencies are the future, but precious metals may save you in these coming scary transition times.
Like Silvio Gesell, I think that if metals are money, that money will have an interest and that leads to capitalism.
What he didn't even hear about is peak oil or energy crisis. An interest-based economy HAS to grow, so the future is black for capitalism. I want to make clear that I'm FOR the free market. It's hard not to do it after reading the great "The machinery of freedom" by David Friedman.
