An intro to the VIP section....Trading tips and techniques

This is some of the stuff that will be available on the new site in the forums section and the VIP section. The VIP, although not available at first, may have live trading like this to follow.

This was shot an hour ago live, in a live trade, I took out half at $14.75, and currently holding the other half still as of 11:37.

Enjoy this, any questions let me know!

cnet has a handful of screen recorders, many of them are freeware. The first one on the list, BSR Screen Recorder, can capture in AVI, SWF, WMV and EXE.

  9. Fantastique! Can't wait to be a VIP!!! SGS - I can't thank you enough for being here for us and sharing so generously. I really thank my lucky stars I found you (and the Turd and his folks at Pailin's trading corner). I have just begun "practice" trading virtually using the optionsxpress platform and REALLY want to learn how to do this (and already up a bit on my 1st two practice trades - YAY!) When I am doing better, be assured, I will be tipping you. Thanks bunches!

One question to all of yous if you don't mind - which trading platform do you recommend? Optionsxpress seems to charge higher fees, but they do have a practice platform, so I finally "dug in" on that to begin yesterday.

  12. So .. Buffet owns what .. 10% of Moody's? Buffet drops $5b on BAC ... then Moody's downgrades BAC? .. anyone else find that to be simply hilarious, never mind poetic justice.

  14. i use stops because you can set what your prepared to lose before your emotions can get in the way. see i would have made a stop just below the fuckstick candle, and if i didnt i would have probably got out too early. set em and forget em, never modify.

    callin me a fucking clown...

  15. @maradv - a good way to keep the emotions in check, agreed. I often move my stop loss up as the price gets better - why lose more than you have to.

I used an older version, was buggy before. I don't know about the new version. Released under GPL.
