George Soros has just fired the Warning shots

"That is a role that Germany has been eager to avoid and remains unwilling to accept. But Germany has no real choice. A breakdown of the euro would precipitate a banking crisis that would be beyond the global financial authorities’ ability to control. The longer Germany takes to recognize this, the higher the price it will have to pay."

  5. Hey all I'm still here, having trouble finding decent silver hence in exchange for my computer.

The most expensive I could find was only around $75 for some low-grade numismatic and they didn't have many of them. I'm looking to get at least $750 for my laptop in trade so I'll need to find something better.

Any tips on finding the most expensive silver 1 oz pieces? ;)

  9. Is anyone really taking Diabolitio seriously?

I feel that he's pulling our legs, but at the same time, disillusioning the newbies who are only readers of the SGS site.

If you are serious, Diabolitio, do you think it's wise to bet the farm (laptop) on numismatic coins, where you have absolutely zero expertise and familiarity?

  13. This is indeed a warning shot, he's part of the current elite, and viewed as a authority so this will have an impact on the community that holds this person high.

  14. I spent a few hours here and there with his son Johnathan. He basically said smart investing is cycles investing and just make sure you transfer your wealth into each new wealth class cycle ahead of time and get out just before the mania pops. This time its commodities, especially Gold ( Silver comes along for the ride ). The super rich like Gold ahead of Silver.

He also said paper versions of real assets are exactly that, paper e.g. GLD and SLV are ponzi schemes. PHYS and PSLV are real, but governments can mess those up as well i.e. you want the real stuff!

Also, agriculture/land ( not real estate ) is a big play.
