    Yo yo. I got a job offer to be PaidInFiat in Milpitas... I don't want to live in a metro area, but just a place that's not too populated and a bit far off from the city... (About 30 to 45 minutes is what I can handle, as there is tail that I would like to hit from time to time in San Jo).

    Any recommendations? Gilroy? I am completely oblivious to the South Bay.

    I knows the O, but Oakland is NOT where I wanna be when it comes down. YEE!

  8. it seems the market is reacting in expectation of the european wide short selling ban. if you looka t the end of september 2008 the day after the US did the exact same thing, ban all financial shorting, the market had an amazing recovery, followed within 2 weeks by the steepest and most prolonged drop ever

  11. I toured a bank in the late 70's for a school field trip. They showed us the $500 & $1000 bills they had. I know it wouldn't be hard for them to make a few new plates to print from. They have probably already started designing them.

    Something else to ponder...remember when "fast cash" at an atm used to be $20? Now it's $40... Soon to be $60? & there's no inflation right?

  22. Ok. This is way early for any type of prediction, so I probably shouldn't do it. But, this is what I am seeing for SIU11. I'm going to say...er, maybe 60-40 with a down bias. What annoys me is that it could be quite a strong down move in a very short period of time. If you want to look positive, then 39.09 is a target. Downside, looking somewhere around 37.88. I cannot stress enough that these are very short term predictions. Currently SIU11 is at 38.725

You see Led, it is now the time of year where I no longer need to worry about the imminent destruction of my country because football is back! My Bruins got a Cup, Red Sox look poised to make a run, and the Pats look solid. My life would be fucking perfect if it wasn't for our shitty government.
    It kind of reminds me of the movie Major League when those Chinese guys kept saying about the Indians, "They're still shitty."
    Well Led, The government is still shitty, but at least I have good sports teams to watch while I incoherently mumble from all of the flouride and chemtrails.
