  3. Chapman also said that at a silver price of $60-$65 JPM would be done. I appreciate the enthusiasm, but he's cracked if he really believes that.

Look at the price of JPM's stock vs silver spot for the past 3-4 months, every time silver gets close, it's smacked down with ease. Silver just bounced hard off of $39.20 and is heading right toward JPM at $40.20 above. What's the chance it closes above that number today? 0 would be a good guess....

But fret not, you better than BM and her thugs...you're stacking at a discount to FRN.

  4. This is what the debt debate was all about - unbelievable! In summary the military to cut about 20% out of it's budget, so the Mil will need to look for profits in the drug trade eg. Afghan Opium et al. And 1% cut in other spending - LOL. Sorry, all the drama over 1%, which could be made up by raising taxes 5% on all Wall-Mart China goods imported!
    ----------------
About $2.4 trillion in spending cuts: The framework would immediately cap domestic and defense spending, resulting in cuts of $917 billion over 10 years, according to House Speaker John Boehner. Democrats have described the magnitude of initial cuts as nearly $1 trillion.

The framework then calls for more deficit reduction -- between $1.2 trillion and $1.5 trillion worth -- to be determined by the end of this year and imposed over 10 years.

  5. Lets see if S&P downgrades AAA US debt.
They promised based on whats in this current debt limit raise bill that they would downgrade the US.
This would mean all the institutional investors would dump US debt, and therefore that money would run to PM's/commodities/other currencies etc...
Schiff assumes they wont because all the agencies are in bed with the government!
Also, he says if the economy gets real bad in the next 12 months, then they may blow through this limit and have to do this again before the election, which means Obama is toast, and here comes another George Bush -> Rick Perry!

  6. Very happy Ingot! One conservative forecaster lowered his carryover numbers down to 150 today because on far lower yields based on pollination problems from very high overnight avg temps. Led continues to try and play this from a technical perspective and I'm sticking to fundamentals. The floor has been picking pockets for the last month based on tech traders and black boxes. What the the technicals fail to compensate for is the coming crop crisis. Be long or be wrong .

  7. how many experts said metals would dive from debt thing being resolved and then down swings

  8. as much as I like Chapman, he has NO idea where the prices of G/S are going to be tomorrow, Friday or in 1 month. With all the manipulation in the market, I wouldn't be suprised if G/S were at the same levels as they are today - 8/1/11..... no one know shit about future pricings.

  9. Chapman has a pretty good background in precious metals. I got my cash into metals in 2007 on Chapman's advice, he good with me dude.

  10. Silver tickled $40 before the hammer of the Gods descended and kicked it's ass. Gotta love a "free" market. What a joke!

On a sunnier note, my new Glock 17 arrives this week!

  12. SGT = Silver Gold Tungsten?

Haha, I just ordered a bar of tungsten last weekend. Just to remind myself what's in Fort Knox. It'll look good next to the jar of shredded money I got from the US Mint, and under my framed wall of depreciating Zimbabwe currency (1 to 100 Trillion)

  13. What kind of AR did you end-up getting SGS? Tell us about it please! Are you scoped, red-dotted or iron sights? How many rounds, what range(s), did you shoot any tight groups, etc? Thanks and very cool, congrats!

  14. Since we're celebrating our guns: hollow points coming this week for the SR9. Come get my stack.

  15. DM: armalite AR 15. red dot for now. Was shotting the ground until we figured out that the iron sights lined up at the bottom. After that 100 yards was hitting within half a foot groupings. Have a bipod on it. collapsable stock. Its sick to shoot. I would encourage anyone to buy one. Its funner than fun.

  17. IslanStyle,
i have a Stag....great rifle..definetly recommend. i have 2 AR's, one is a DPMS. I prefer to shoot the Stag every single chance i get

  18. Yes AR's are good now adays. Where I live everyone is raised from the womb holding and shooting rifles, shutguns and handguns. Big deal hunting and respect for firearms.

I like the Stag-15. Very accurate at 200-300 yards.

By the way.....has anyone read NED SCHMIDTS article GOLD WORSHIP and DONUTS? Its worth a good chuckle. Any of you folks buying Gold over Donuts today, Ned thinks you are making a mistake. He values Donuts over gold....LOL

Ain't nothing like a GOOD GADFLY to get the laughing going. I attribute my semi-stomach 6 pack from reading many of Neds articles. He keeps me in good shape
