Lulu: full retard commenced

You know, once in a while, when you get these influxes of printed money, the algos tend to hit the nasy stocks that need the most attention, in particular, in order to get enough volume to fill lots of shorts into this irrational exuberance.
May I present you, SGS's parabolic stock chart of the week:

Of course this retardation can continue all the way up to $150, but, I will take my chances pulling the trigger within the next 2 days if a candle gives me the signal. Keep an eye on it.

  1. Yeah LULU is a joke but check out nflx which is determined to get its pe in the triple digits. It's up $20+ today and $300 a share is in site.

Amzn is another one making a new all time high today.

It's obvious to see where all the excess money printing is going.

  2. Yes, but LULU cant expand into the carribean and latin america with the flip of the switch...its riding the QQQ steam right now....$100 is my target when it reverses.

  3. Just bought me some Aug 20 $100 puts. Let's do this SGS.

Hey just a thought. Even though it looks like Peru's new pres won't privatize, you think the fear that it is a possibility will keep big investors away from Tinka?

  4. LULU has been like this since they had the quarterly report was better then expected, plus a stock split vote that passed a day before. It hit 100 at one point dropped down to like 86 report came out and has been on a rocket ship to the moon since then. Within a year from 33 dollars or something to where it is now..

  7. The entire NASDAQ is a fuckshow right now. Want to see some bullshit that is currently fondling my nut sack? Check out Herman Miller's stock with a huge gap that refuses to close from two weeks back. Keeps adding a few cents each day on declining volume so that algos don't even pick it up. P/E isn't as big as NFLX or LULU, but still, how the hell does a company selling overpriced office furniture in a depression get any play?

  8. MLHR looks toppy, resistance at $28, MACD overblown RSI topping out. Be patient. Expect to squeeze the shorts above $28, then they will hammer it.

  15. Hey Island, algos just refer to any trades that are executed by computers. There are different types algos for different types of trades. One of the first things that every trader and investor should understand are the algos that create or follow volume. They sucker the rookies in by bidding up the shares on heavy volume. Rookies will jump in thinking that the volume means everyone is buying and if they don't get in, they're going to miss the boat. Once enough suckers have bought, the algos start selling. That's why you almost always buy on red days and short on spikes.

  18. I wonder how much longer this lemon can keep on making lemonade, but one thing i know is people don't understand how bubbles work. If you live in Vancouver, and saw the housing prices most think its normal that a Crack shack is 1 mil here, no yard, nothing, its on a busy road with a view of traffic and you can smell your next door neighbour's shit

  19. @SGS - I'm with you on the August 115 puts for Lulu. And people said silver was getting frothy, the 50-DMA is at 96!

Anyone here ever dable with leveraged bearish ETFs like FAZ or TZA?

  20. My MLHR short is bleaching my asshole ghost white with acid. NOTHING on the NASDAQ wants to go down, which just means a harder crash coming up.

  21. Future: I told you they would punch it through the 28's did I not?

I would have expected the sellers to come in and bring that candle down though @eod. Is there news out?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Zero news. Just piggybacking on the EOD strength in the market. Seems to me like the Portugal downgrade and the China rate hike has everyone pumping money into the U.S. - whether it be the dollar or American stocks. They'll have to decouple eventually though. I just wish Bermonkey will hurry up with the dollar appreciation so I can get out of my shorts and buy some phyzz for cheap.

One thing I've learned from this experience is to not short these fucking "lifestyle" stocks on spikes. Hipster investors with bad facial hair hold these. And by hold, I mean they clench on to them in the hopes they'll become the next AAPL. Mixed in with a bit of algo buying, and the price usually remains flat or trends higher. That is, until the next piece of bad economic news comes out and the computers go bonkers - then these will be the first to go. Again, I need Bermonkey more than ever now.

  23. Anyone think this is a good time to short now? The candlesticks on the daily, the 4 hour and 15 min charts are looking pretty tired....
