  3. I've seen these before, and like them. Could easily live in one myself. Like PIG says, it's simple.

Getting back to basics and simplicity is its own reward...

  4. They make useless toy bunnies... perhaps that's why they can't afford more.

  5. If anyone cares, the U.S. Dollar index has only had a yearly low once in the month of May since 1971. So, looks like it will break May's lows at 72.86.

  6. You guys are missing the point. Its not about simplicity or cutting down. Its about bankers living in 40,000 sq foot homes, getting free money from YOU, and YOU having to change YOUR lifestyle. American pipe dream it is.

  7. Jesse's Cafe posted this list of official international gold holdings: http://jessescrossroadscafe.blogspot.com/2011/06/world-gold-reserves-top-20.html

This puts the US in the lead by a large margin. So, let's pretend for a moment that this is accurate, and the US is hoarding gold, while at the same time it is printing up monopoly money to pay all of it's foreign and domestic bills. As long as the planet continues to accept this colored paper instead of real assets, and as long as the US continues to create more worthless "money", they have a huge incentive to inflate the money as much as possible. Since they have most of the gold, this would crush every other country in terms of USD.

If you held more gold than anyone you knew, and it was your choice to print money, or to cut spending, which would you choose?

  8. Even that small house is nothing compared to mexican houses.
However those houses are made out of concrete and are two stories high.

So, yeah.. that is what its [the amercan dream] come to, saddly

  9. When was the US gold holdings verified or ever audited?

  10. Gold has left offshore years ago to China and the ME...this is like Bear Sterns CEO coming out the day before they went to zero saying they dont have any problems. Data is bullshit.

  11. Love how silver is getting creamed again today. CFTC...nothing to see here. How much: coke, whores, cash does it take to buy a conscience?

  12. @SGS I couldn't agree more. This is a travesty.

We create value, but due to our good hearts we allow the parasites to live luxurious lives at our expense by ascribing to their repugnant ponzi scheme.

This must stop. Any warm blooded vertebrae would be outraged by this catastrophe.

  13. hmmm.. have you seen those 34sq meter (er.. ahmmm.. 360sq. ft.) "homes" in IKEA. Not sure of the exact size but they are SMALL! Remarkable! basically a big square room divided into 2 X 1/2and 1 of the 1/2s divided again. Has everything except space!

Can't swing a dead cat without hitting a wall :-D

    Know what!? I WANT ONE!

  14. sgs,

its the chicken or egg thing you are debating, people are doing what they need to for survival ... PMs getting ass handed again, people need to look down road 4 years and relax--too many live day2day and blow gaskets

  15. This is reality. What happened for the last 40 years was a Ponzi Sceme ( Madoffs investors were happy for 40 years util the truth came out ) Sociopathic smart people rise to the top and became bankers and now how everything. We live is messed up society. Whats the answer. Probably one day technology will make all our lives pretty good and we wont have to work. Until then, its going to suck for decades! Remember, we live in an experiment, and we are now in rapid decline in this country. All I can say is, you have not lived in China for the last 50 years, now that sucked!

  16. What you guys dont seem to understand is that in mexico (for example), those small houses are actually rather expensive (price / size wise), many of those houses are even 50 and over.

So, if this ever gets mainstream, we're talking a huge price movement:

Normal houses will become "Mansions" and therefore will be sold as Big houses, whilst mini-homes (like the one on the video) will be sold at norml prices.

It is outrageous! (and even more so if we find there actually IS a huge market for them)

  17. Friggin A! Dr. offices are awash in traders with Blown gaskets :-D

My daily goal is $100. When I make it I stop. Not there yet - happy when I don't lose $50 :-D

  18. SGS,

My point exactly! Jim Willie, "noting but nerve gas in Fort Knox".

Coke and whores are cool! Cash not so much, ill take some gold or sliver with my coke and whores. Silver will help with the STD's.

    Thanks

  22. Is it my imagination or is the premium on Phyz Silver increasing... was around $20CND for a 10oz bar for the longest time... now it appears to be closer to $30. Sheesh!

  25. I used to live in a 3000 sq ft house in CT. Now live in 1400 sq ft lakefront house in NH. The lady is right that we need all that space for a bunch of useless shit. Now that I have less space, I have less stuff, and life is so much easier. It takes a lot of work to maintain a lot of stuff. I do have a detatched two car garage and a 12x16 shed so I still have more stuff than I need, but truly enjoy my simpler life. The only reason I would ever want more space is if I had so much phyzz that I needed more space, but for now I'm good.

The bankers can have their 40000 sq ft houses. Their lives are probably more complicated than I would ever care for. Their kids are always all fucked up and they have wives that can't fucking stand them save for the money. Fuck that. I just got in from fishing with my kids and playing whiffle ball. Most bankers probably don't even know what its like to have fun with their kids because their kids fucking hate them.
The sun comes up, the sun goes down, live life with love in your heart and a smile on your face and you are million times richer than any douche bag banker.

    This.

The idea behind what they're doing is awesome, although their implementation is extreme.

  30. .89 over spot for 10 oz bars at MonarchPreciousMetals.com!
I'm outta dry powder myself, but maybe someone else would like some.

  31. damn that wouldn't even hold my computer equipment let alone all the firearms and reloading stuff. I guess that's what the 3500 sq-ft air conditioned shop would be for.

  32. Sheesh! Did I blow that trade! I don't know where the bottom is.

  33. For people who still got money to buy. I just received an email from Gainesville coin. Some of their silver is now 0.99 over spot. Nope, not for silver eagles or maples or philharmonics.
If you think silver is still silver, you can go check it out.

I am not in any way, form or shape related to Gainesville coins. I had shopped with them several times though. Their prices was pretty low, if you wire them the money within 24 hours. Yes, the biggest pain in the butt is fund must be wired within 24hours.

    Anyway, that's all I got.

  34. coconut, I got the same email, so I believe you.

  35. Wow, watching this video put me through a variety of emotions. First off was shock, horror. Listening to this woman talk about how they couldn't even afford a trailer, and that they thought about living in a shed??? Then pure rage, thinking of the Bernank and Owebama, spouting off their lies about the good they are doing, as they drive off back to their mansions in their Bentleys. While I will never agree with left wing or communist thinking, watching this video makes me understand why the Russians did what they did to the Tsar.

Bernank/Owebama, you two better watch your back.

  36. SGS,

whats your take on the SLV option chain since just an hour or so ago? and all day period?

  37. My goal is to convert an ISO shipping container into a home. A 40 footer is about the same square footage.

Big houses are stoopid. Go outside more you fucking lazy couch potatoes.

  38. Looking through the posts, it appears some people are still wigging about the fiat price of PM´s. Watch the bear videos again and get that fiat virus innoculated pronto.

The video shows me a few things I like. One, these people don´t give a flying fuck what anybody thinks. Two, they are pulling their own weight, and are at least living in a part of the country that is still free enough to allow them to do their own thing. Three, think making hand made bunnies is gay? At least it´s American made and not from some nightmare sweatshop in Bangladesh or China. Four, if you have to take a serious dump, that house is going to be fumigated for free.

  39. That's a pretty good find, Heward. I recently bought a 50 oz Monarch bar and it's just raw, old fashioned .999 silver. Love it! Thanks for posting.
