  1. 2012 will be a good year for doomers.

I don't know who those guys were, but the points they made, I hope everybody already knew. Food, water, guns, gold and silver.

  2. I love where I live. Vancouver Island has a natural buffer, water, that will help prevent mass floods of people from coming here. However, if people do come over in boats, we will certainly welcome them and help them. We have abundant water supplies that are close to every city, tons of game to hunt, bountiful fishing in both lakes and the ocean, and a small population of only about 500,000 people spread out over a large area. Plenty of places to get lost in the woods and wait it out.

  3. ps: Kiyosaki is a self-prostituting opportunist. A few years ago, it was real estate. Now he's pushing metals. He simply follows the trends and acts like he's an expert. This guy just reads books by Faber, Schiff and Rogers and talks like he knows what up. This guy is a D-Bag.

  5. "I'm preparing by getting fully diversified. I buy both gold AND silver."

Not completely un-funny for a bunch of creepy crawler scammy gurus.

Ok, ok, there's room on the bandwagon, but you guys gotta sit on the hump.

    Spot on!
These guys have all something to sell. Ok Gold and Silver are good things to have but these guys come across as snake-oil salesmen.
They really really want you to buy their Gold and Silver. I wonder if they can be found when everyone eventually wants to sell?
The guy who's making the presentation looks very suspect. They are just hyping the fear.

  7. They will sell when the mania is peaking, but they wont tell you they are. Did Sprott tell you to sell when PSLV was at 25$ premium at $50 at the end of April, fuck no. You will only be able to sell when every fucker and his great grandmothers pet poodle is trying to buy PM's, as they will do anything to buy it from you.

The time for that is way off, but it will come, then its time to buy that beach front house with the proceeds and have the rest in the new gold backed SDR/dollar/euro thingy so you can buy food and pay for electricity etc...

Take in all the info and try to find the common reality that's in it somewhere!

  8. Fuck this guy. Next he'll say all the silver he bought was sold to a "sucker" for a 900% profit. I need to take a shower now.

  9. This all people are rather funny. All of them wealthy comparing to the rest of the world. Doesn't matter if someone is hungry - they'll always manage. For them the worst would mean - smaller yacht, and kavior only twice a week.. For the rest of the world it will be hunger and diseases. So from this point of view - this is complete crap.

  11. Is it me or do these guys look like they're made of plastic. Fitting.
What I dilike about them is that patronising air of being so prepared, having all the silver, gold, food etc that they could ever need.

Yeah, great, I wish. As hard as I try I'm nowhere near that, and probably never will, even if I had the time. I struggle to get through and every ounce counts.

These guys don't know what it's like to try and out run the bear. Smug fucks.

  12. Everyone and there grandma has a guide to surviving the crash, literally.

I really think they are playing up the fear card to sell books and videos.

Gold and silver is shunned by the general public, they all remember the sting of the 1980's bubble.

Kiyosaki is a whore, look up his Rich Dad Education courses that scam people for $45k. He knows a bit, but without his book sales he would be just another slum lord. Yes he recommends buying run down apartments as 'Cashflow'.

You should have food, gun, gold/silver regardless of speculation on a currency collapse. It just makes good sense.

I dont know 3 people I know that are preparing for anything other then buying another 50 inch 3d flat screen and $450K house (finished basement) thinking the 2% variable here will last for 25 years.

  14. Am I becoming paranoid ? Red cross called me for blood donation. My blood type is nothing special. They are campaigning for more blood donation everywhere. Is it something brewing ?

    ReplyDelete
  15. @coconutrumplus: have you ever donated before? If you donated even once, they will keep your info. and file until they can't get a hold of you anymore. I wouldn't be paranoid about this. I live in PA and my mother has donated for as long as I can remember, and they still call her to remind her of the date she can donate again. So few people donate (myself included) that they have to be aggressive.

  17. @ SGS, same here. The only people I see supposedly covering their asses are online and I can't even verify that shit (although I take their word for it). -I know exactly ONE family IRL that is prepared and they're lifers (Y2K tested).

  18. @ Julian

You're totally right, these people look like they're not only made of plastic, but they're all wearing the same shirt in different colors. This video is terrifying. Not for the doomsday scenario they're spewing, but purely for the fact that they look like reanimated mannequins. Did you ever see "Today's Special?"

  19. @ Dan So true Dan. What's Today's Special? I guess this is something stateside!

@Paid In Gold - Yeah a revolution on an empty stomach. That'll last. It's depressing, I sit next to colleagues, who I'd love to alert, but would be seen as a doom monger and a nut job. Please don't connect. Some have savings in the bank. It won't be there when the switch is flicked.

Cash under the mattress is better for the short run, after that phyzz and anything to barter with.

But I find there is no time to worry about others at this stage as I've got enough to get together myself. Spare money is the hardest part.

Is it sad that I've just received an ounce in the post today. Yes it's hardly anything, but I had £30, seemed a good idea to me.

  20. should say 'People don't connect' lol.
