If the $US falls in a forest, does anyone hear it?

If the dollar didnt rally on that Bin Laden news, I hate to say it, this may be the end soon.

Oh and I just heard Dennis Gartman say Live on BNN, "There is no trade in Silver, its so volatile its no place for amateurs, and no pro trader wants anything to do with it."

Right...

  1. Gartman advised his clients to “rush to the exits” on gold when it was at $1,200. Oops. Do any of the news folk ever call them on these types of things?

  2. Gartman is a pure, unadulterated fuck-wit.

  6. I'm only 19, but am interested in all this. My Dad said he doesn't buy into the idea that the announcement of OBL's death was to pump up the dollar and crash silver and gold.

  7. p.s. - I don't agree with my dad.

  8. Money is money and paper is paper - doesn't get much simpler than that. Killed who? Bin what? The only thing being killed is the fucking dollar.

  9. Diamond: Dad is correct in my opinion. Everything is not a conspiracy.

But SGS has a good point. If the death of Bin Laden did not send the US Dollar flying up, nothing probably will.

  10. I love these crashes with diminishing half lives. Every time I laugh uncontrollably at how uncomfortable and desperate Blythe and her leash holders are getting when they throw the kitchen sink at silver just to see it bounce right back up. Suck a fat one Blythe, you can't scare me, and you certainly can't make me sell my phyzz!

  11. Here's an interesting ZOG silver slide show. ZOG did not report the source of his data and he show supply greater than demand, which flies in the face of shortages and 17 years of deficit and backwardation. http://www.businessinsider.com/silver-investing-guide-2011-5?op=1

  12. Wow. Lots of silver talk on BNN today. Even Berman was puzzled at the move last night.

  15. I don't know who Dennis Gartman is, but he's obviously not a trader.

  16. A military raid was conducted last night. The intended target, SI, was reported to be severely injured. Charts were widely distributed to indicate that this appeared to be the case. However, this morning showed that the target has almost completely recovered. During the raid, it appears that collateral damage was done to an unintended bystander, the DX. Currently, DX is on life support and is listed in critical condition. Doctors are hesitant to give any timeline for a recovery. A contact who does not wish to be identified stated that the prognosis for DX doesn't look good but can not give an estimate of how long the patient has to live.

Meanwhile, the president of the Banana Republic of the United Corporations, O'Banana, has been touting the raid on SI as "extremely successful" and "an operation that we have been planning for a very long time". Media reports are showing an increase in O'Banana's approval ratings while DX's critical condition has been widely ignored by the mainstream press.

  18. Bin Ladin family was a very close business partner with the Bush family. Osama was a CIA asset known as Tim Osman. The Al Queda was created and funded by the CIA. The real enemy is already here and controlling your mind with total propaganda and lies through the mainstream media. Do you get the big picture yet??
