Got a text form a friend. It read, "this is getting dumb"

I concur.

Enjoy Ben's Speech, dont eat before it, and buy the fucking dips unless he raises rates to 10%.

  2. This article has some rage much like SGS:

    http://dont-tread-on.me/picking-a-fight-with-5-silver-traitorstraders

    FOMC Minutes 12:30 EST
    Crimex close: 12:25 EST

You decide what is going to happen into the close.

  3. Anybody knows a link where the FOMC statement that will be released somewhen around 12:30 will be available?

  4. Does anyone know when the Ben Bernank gives his speech today? I keep reading the articles that say he's giving his first presser, but nobody mentions the time.

By the way, I'm pissed and the Canucks. I mean, how could they come through like that in OT? Instead of only having to travel to Chicago, Detroit has to travel all the way to Cali again. Most likely the Wings will play Vancouver in the conference finals where we'll Luongo get lit up like a Christmas tree and the Sedin twins get Kronwalled! HAHAHAHA

  5. @SGS Oy! That's a bold prediction.

Man...lots of grammatical errors in my previous post. I sound like a fuckin fuckin!

  6. Press release 11:30 central.

The Ben Bernank is taking questions at 1:15 central.

  7. Today I made my first big physical silver purchase.. in india.. around 20 ounces.
earlier i used to buy 1 ounce one time in a year.

  8. Looks like the Fed's press release was bad news for the US$ and good news for PM.

Glad I bought those SLV options yesterday! Thanks, Blythe!

  12. Ben: "The Committee will regularly review the size and composition of its securities holdings in light of incoming information and is prepared to adjust those holdings as needed"

Translated: We will keep printing money until the Dollar is dead.

Thanks, Ben. I am longer than ever now.

  13. Scott - thanks for the link to the Moriarty article. Well well written and intelligent response by Chris. Sliver bugs are generally smart and have head-up go for the throat facts that cannot be disputed. Even Moriarty's reply was nothing more than a shallow dig, which speaks to his character.

I see three Silver camps. Bugs who invest for the long term based on a solid foundation of irrefutable facts. Shorts who only know "bubble charts" and are aware of the big paper shuffle (options expiry). And the Chicago Mercantile Traders (CNBC interview yesterday) who said it's simple, buy silver because $15 Trillion debt and Ben's cards will not change until 2012. Duhhhh....

  14. Hello. I'm a newbie wanting to be pointed to links of these COMEX/LMBA volumes and what to look for. Ideally an all in one stop. I saw SGS's post regarding 70+ for silver and 200+ for gold. I'm trying to piece it together through the orgy of swearing :) I'm wanting to learn how to see as much movement coming as a sheep can expect to. This is as far as I got..

  15. may not be an opp to buy the dip! looks like the same ole story for helicopter benny; just a new day!

    ReplyDelete
  16. 2pac: What? I think this is exactly the point to buy the dip! The press release already stated that

    1. The rates will stay down between 0 and ,25 per cent
    2. QE2 will go on as planned until end of 2nd quarter
    3. They will monitor and decide what is needed afterwards

Also, they claim that there is no long term inflation.

So all in all: Silver will be up, the USD'll get fucked in the ass big time.

I think we will not see 44 USD Silver for a very, very, veeeeery long time.

  19. BTFD!! Never before in the history of mankind have four words held such power. Who's with me?

    Thanks SGS!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hmmm... something just happened - silver up $1.30

    ReplyDelete
  21. @2pac: What BS news do you mean? Everything that Ben said was great news for silver. The only thing better would have been an announcement of QE3.

    ReplyDelete
  22. eruptions, gold up +$20 and silver +$2, Vesuvius

  26. Here comes Benny! It's crazy how one man controls the metals market with a few words. Think he'll drop a hint about QE3? If he does, we're going past $50 today. Thoughts?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hahahaha! I love how the markets just went on pause. Volume just disappeared across the board.

    ReplyDelete
  28. We are still in a dip. Someone mentioned swapping Silver for Gold. No thanks. It's smart to have both but I think Silver's much more under valued than Gold plus many more people can afford silver. Supply and demand will always out do other factors. IMHO

  30. Subdued inflation? Improving unemployment? Transitory commodity price increases?? Ben, are you high? The business end of your crack pipe must be hot to the touch.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Mark - I agree. But then again, it's pretty challenging to blatantly screw an entire populace out of their savings while telling them that it's for their benefit.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Heli Ben sure as shit ain't ruling out QE3.

Children, your word of the day is "dual mandate."

    ReplyDelete
  33. Moderate recovery? You believe it to be sustainable?? Not without QE3 Benny, not without QE3. Oh, and QE4. And QE5.

    ReplyDelete
  34. From what I'm hearing I would conclude that nothing has changed and it is full speed ahead with continued $USD destruction.

  36. SLA - Keiser e-mail:

We don't have a lot of time right now but I wanted to make sure that you are all in tune for this weekends massive announcement and will open your emails on Saturday at 1:30pm EST.

With today's Fed announcement about the continuing of QE2 and no interest hikes, silver has seen it's dips and here we go again!

This weekends announcement is the biggest movement Max has done yet and it was softly mentioned in the last "On the Edge with Max Keiser" in the second half of the episode. The Silver Liberation Army is now going to the next level and it is going to be covered by all sorts of media.... EVERYWHERE!

So make sure you stay tuned for Saturday's massive announcement before it's made public next week. The SLA always gets the "goods" before the public.

    --S.L.A.--

P.S. The dips are over, grab your cheap silver while you can.

  38. Is Benflation's chair vibrating? Oh, no, that's just his voice box fighting back the truth and spitting lies instead. If he says "more transparency" one more time, I think he'll vaporize! What a joke.

Gold strapped to a missile going to $1550.

QE to infinity and beyond! Yay!

    ReplyDelete
  39. @Ben: Well done, Helicopter! By the time you finished the press release and conference the USD fell to a new low and Silver rocketed more than 2 USD.

  42. Everyone, please read and reply to me.

QUESTION: What are your thoughts on today's FOMC announcement and press conference.

    MY ANSWER:

    1) Inflation IS NOT a problem
    2) The rising oil price HAS NOTHING TO DO with dollar destruction.
    3) The recovery, while slow IS REAL
    4) QE2, FULL STEAM AHEAD TIL THE END
    5) QE3, NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION
    6) Employment, IS IMPROVING

*Note, 1,2,3 and 6 are lies

    ReplyDelete
  43. @IslandStyle...

My thoughts are summed up by looking at a chart of the USD, gold, and silver right next to each other a few short hours after "The Ben Bernank's" presser.

I agree with your answer as well. Your avatar (profile pic) just kills me LOL.

  48. Count me in! I thought I bought expensive at a meager 45 level :)
(My lazy ass mother missed it though, and tomorrow she will be trying to catch the flying jellyfish.)

Im gonna buy some physical for the profit generated by the 4x leaverage! (i.e 2.8x leverage after taxes) But remember kids!
We wont have to pay the marginal profit taxes next year AFTER the SHTF.

Even bought myself some nice survival books.

I can recommend the Hawke's Green Beret Survival Manual and John Wisemans' SAS - Survival Handbook. Hell, even Hawkes mentions that he's bullish on bullions just in case!

I also bought some copies to my relatives, but they just skimmed through the pages and looked at me as if I came from the Sanatorium or something.
    So sad...

I don't quite understand that KAISER SLA EMAIL.
Is it saying "stay tuned to email, because an announcement is coming this saturday by email"??
Or, is it saying something like "stay tuned to what MAX does, because on saturday he will be doing SOMETHING BIG"??
It is not clear to me the actual meaning of this email.
Also, how does somebody get onto that email-list??
Thanks for posting that email here!

  56. Nice link Japser!

But then I also suppose you also have your own diesel power, solar panels, and wind mill ( My turbine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9Y16NUH0sM ) supplying the farm with electricity when permanent black outs occur, otherwise I can only see that you own the intellectual analog of paper money when the SHTF,
unless you (ironically) let them .pdf´s hit the printing presses!

Or maybe you know all survival stuff already :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Hi Peter, just the link is my only claim to helping. I took them to Kinkos and had some ran off and put into a binder. Sounds like you have a great setup! I myself just have a water supply (river)with 100 pounds of rice and 50 pounds of beans as backup. Plus the firepower to hold it, LOL.

    My hats off to you.

  58. Oh my! It just hit in the 48.5 wall again!

Thx Japser! I do my best! :)
I especially liked the '1000 household knowhows' and 'Food Growing' papers!
Have you ever considered to build an hydro plant? Or are there no altitude difference on your property?

I dont have any firepower to talk about yet (only a wimpy MP5A2 metal soft air gun :() since it is illegal to own weapons without reason here in Sweden. But Im going to take a hunting license this summer so I (legally) can buy some rifles for various game.

Do you have vitamin C tabs? What about garden seeds?

I would recommend the Peterson Field Guides of Edible Wild Plants for your specific area. I have the east/central North America edition. I was pretty shocked at how much of the vegetation around us is actually edible, and not just edible, but super nutritious too. I ate a ton of dandelion and stinging nettle last summer---I plan on doing it again this summer.

  66. Even though the many mid-tier producers have underperformed in last 3 mos., my Great Panther stock has held to solid gains (around x 4) from my original purchase. Only issue is that the mines, run by Canadians, are in Mexico, around Guanajuato. Will drug cartel issues hold down performance?

  69. someone mentioned on these comments about graded silver coins. I think that it is silly that the graded SILVER EAGLES 86- present are still selling at such premiums to ungraded bullion coins. Honestly, are collectors completely unaware of why the spot silver price has increased. Those premiums will not be passed on to the next buyer when inflation diminishes the amount of disposible income people have.
