The Road

Keeping on the theme of a complete societal break down, I saw this a while back...worth the 2 hours. Trailer kinda sucks, its more on finding food the entire movie because there isn't any. Enjoy.

  1. C'mon dude. It's only 3 reactors. According to CNN, all is well. [/sarcasm]

  3. Kinda poses the question of "what's the point of gold and silver if nobody will take it for food?"

  4. The answer is you should already have food. Gold and silver is just to protect any extra wealth you want to preserve. I have over 1000 lbs of food stored for when shit goes down.

  5. That's one f'd up show boy. Never felt sicker after a movie. Need to beef up the arsenal and plant more garlic this year.

  6. Having seen the trailer, I will NOT watch this movie. There are several movies unrelated to this plot that I will not see ever again, because it's just too much for me.

Let's hope that this shit doesn't happen...

  7. I hope it doesn't happen either, but I'm pretty sure it will dude - just like the cannibalism seen in the Soviet Union during the famine of 1920-21.

  8. Remember our hypothetical HAARP discussion the other day? Ironically, it may be the one thing that could move the jet stream and prevent a mess of fallout from being dumped all over the west coast and further...

But, of coarse... we're in no danger of that happening according to the "experts" now are we?

    Just wait a few days...

Fuck it. Get your hands on some Potassium Iodide and a variety of exotic mushrooms including, Shiitake, Maitake, Reishi etc. Ironic yet again that many of them have Japanese names...

    Or is it...?

  9. Correction.... 4 reactors now. Japan will be glowing soon.

As for "The Road", I liked the book a little better. Being a bit of a doomer, I liked it because it makes you think. How can you plan for worst-case scenario if you can't comprehend worse-case scenario?

  10. Fifty pound bags of pinto beans and rice are still cheap at Costco. Get 'em while you can.
