  1. Well - this is interesting in two ways. If true very very very big.

If not then wynter benson was always a fraud.

Why put this persona in danger of truely being found out as a hoax by making a true or false statement. Before the statements were never provable.

Or its just like the Maguire whistleblower - the story still whistling into the wind more than a year later.

  2. Oh, he'll print, he has too. Who is going to buy all of our worthless paper?

  3. Hugo Salinas Price did say that he expects silver to be introduced into the Mexican economy THIS FALL. He also said that he hoped the price of silver would remain low until after they introduced silver so that the Mexican people could get the most benefit by trading in their paper money for silver coins.

  4. Rick's Picks stated that there is resistance for gold at $1776... This is just too curious to be an accident.

  5. Awe shucks, they didn't kill Gadhaffi, the timing was off. So the dang plunge protection team jumped in to help!

It all makes perfect sense, no stimulus and the markets blow to the top side! Damn that Gadhaffi!

As a result of the continued volatile trading environment, please be advised that exchange margins are continuing to increase. Within the next couple of days, there will be a margin increase in the Crude Oil and Power products. For exchange specific increases, please visit the respective websites. Please monitor any affected holdings closely and manage your risk accordingly.

  7. Why does all of this feel like they are trying to pull a "May 1st" on us? Even the "we got the bad guy" story is following right along track (Obama vs. Gaddafi) same with the margin increases.

Could Monday be a bloodbath for gold like it was for silver?

  8. MY dad , he will be known as sheepleJim, took me out to home despot to buy flashlight batteries cause he thought I was staring at the computer too much, of course they didn't have them and there were a thousand other cattle in there, sheeplejim should have called first. Then we get stuck in traffic on the way back due to a bridge to nowhere construction project, that will be abandoned by the governor in about 10 days. As such sheeplejim made me miss the bernank and I didnt have a chance to take profit on a couple of my puts. and sheeplejim is smirking now because the "market is up" and he avoided another $5,000 loss in his ira.

  9. This hurricane is going to devastate new york city and connecticut its only a matter of time before the equities stumble down, us market watchers got set back a few hours by the bernank

  10. Huh ? Margin hike on crude and power ? Why? 85 is pretty cheap. Saudi and Russia need it above 85. If crude goes down, OPEC will cut output. Counterproductive.

  11. the 11am hurricane update came out ten minutes ago and shows the hurricane force winds missing nyc to the east, and also the winds decreases slighlty more than expected

  12. Led, Did you see this?

USDA announces unknown buyer of 243,840 metric tons of U.S. corn for 2011-12 delivery

I vaguely recall suggesting a corn long at $6 LOL

  13. It seems so pathetic. He can just hint now and things go the moon? Didn't he hint a few weeks ago? And those GDP projections are rigoddam-diculous!

  14. Great news out of Peru! This is a huge relief as I have way too much of my money in Tinka. Now I can sit back, relax and wait.

  18. MikeS or felix or any other Rick Ackerman fans - I signed up for his trial yesterday, been reading about it a bit. Looks good. Some of the guys on his site in the chat say his webinar is great. Have you done it? Any thoughts?

PS. please stop mentioning corn, I was too gay to pull the trigger at 580.

  19. @Silver Monkey - A new mining tax is certainly preferable to outright nationalizing the mines.

  20. I took the course years ago and it has only improved over time.It is very valuable and you will easily recover your tuition. BTW, I wasnt aware that sexual preference impacted trading ability but I guess I learn something everyday. I realize that I was just another schmuck posting the corn trade and I didnt expect people to take it just on my word. There will be more but Corn has clearly performed as anticipated.

My newest long is Soymeal which looks poised for a big upside run. In addtion, Sugar is trying very hard to punch through 30 and if we can close above it today I'd be very encouraged.

  21. Ok Mike thanks - there's one in October, think i'll sign up. I saw you mentioned sugar last week, have been keeping my eye on it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. 30 is an important level. A volume up close would be very bullish. I'm loving the "meal" right now.

  23. I plan to sign up for Rick's Oct. webinar.

Any Canadians buying British ETF or other shares? Since TSX and British exchanges have joined(?) do we simply buy with Canadian fiat?

Actually looking at Sugar re: Mike's mention

  24. @mike - what ticker are you watching/buying for sugar?

  25. CONGRATS MikeS. Why is Soybean Oil lagging so badly?

  26. Sugar is symbol SB. Breaking out now.

Led, Meal is the leader and beans and meal have just broken out of a multi month wedge. This could be a really large up move. Every short and their brother is FUCKED!

  27. a warning to sugar noobs. This is as volatile as SI. Wide stops are warranted if you use them. It is NOT for the faint of heart.
