  1. Every time I see your silver chart, I have to see the Kitco chart before I believe it.
Each time it's pointing skywards and to such a degree. These are most unusual times now.

$US down at a fast rate, Au and Ag (oil and others) up. There is a message here for those who are listening.

  5. @Peter...you're right. There is a message here for people who are listening. Fortunately for us and our wives/children (for those of us who have them) we are, and have been listening. But 99% of the people are clueless and that includes most of my extended family, co-workers, and most of my friends. They think everything is just cyclical and that it'll all work itself out. I'm looked at as the meek fool. I wonder how meek and foolish we'll be when the SHTF as compared to the others.

  6. Took all the equity out of my house, buying all silver. Robert Kiyosaki is right, cash is trash and the USD's death is now accelerating.

Lindsey Williams said it would be dead by the end of 2012, at this rate, I give it the end of summer and it will be dead.

Up here in Canada we are going to get fucked, I know the government will bail out all the pension funds that lose it all because they are in the US stock market. And when that happens, the $1 Trillion in sub-prime CMHC mortgages will pop too, I expect our national debt to jump from $600 Billion to around $1.6 Trillion, meaning the CAD will get toasted too. FML...

  7. BTFD?? When?? Its been really hard to be patient when this market just continues to rip. I'll be honest... bot another contract I may or may not hold it over night. What say you brethren? For the record I purchased more physical Wednesday 800 oz also purchased 390 oz from Tonka not Tinka. Got a delivery of some fine Alaskan canned Salmon. Not quite as shiny as the Silver but hey sure seems like SHTF is coming sooner than later. At what point on the silver chart does the reset button get hit?????

  9. Remember Canada is more of a resource based economy which will provide support for our dollar. It certainly won't be as bad for us as it will be for the US.

  10. Here's the deal, as it has me really thinking. I see all the news out there about the economy, fiat, geopolitical situations, etc. The rise in gold and silver has happened as predicted. Inflation has happened as it would.

I've got a problem, though. My company had a bit of a difficult time in 2008 during the holidays after the market crash, we struggled through 2009, and we had a very good year last year. We are doing even better this year. I'm talking about my location only. If all the things my source discusses are happening, why is business booming in the outdoors industry? We have a lot of traffic coming into the stores, people are gearing up for trips to many countries and going backpacking at Philmont THIS SUMMER. During peak driving season! Why do I see these two realities?

  11. SE,

Speaking for myself. I've been hedging for a flee scenario that prompted me to outlay lots'o' fiat for the type of gear you speak to. Its so hard to read cause most people you talk to still have a glazed look in their eyes.

  12. I know everyone says our resources will shield us.
BS, look into it. Look where all the pension funds are, the teachers, police, OMERS, all heavy into US stocks. Also, the CMHC, has $14 billion in funds, with liabilities exceeding $1 Trillion.

    It will be like dominoes.

  13. SE,

Most people simply don't want to see what is happening around them. They like their lives to be consistently comfortable thus they block out the potential for immediate discomfort that you and others clearly see coming. It's simple psychology. It's denial.

  14. That chart is beautiful and terrifying all at the same time.

I decided not to buy this week. Instead, I got a Saiga 12.

Excellent post and I see it as well. My take is there are two realities. Those that kept there jobs and business has picked up some. Their spending as if nothing happened other than a bump in the road. The others like my best friend are being flushed down the drain and he's the mayor of a great city (pays almost nothing, he's honest). FYI other than this board there is NO ONE to talk to and share idea's (thx you SGS) None of my friends believes or bought a singe oz of anything. Even my own mom and dad don't believe me on this PM stuff, they bought another spec house (shitting you not). FYI, having it and keeping it WBFE. I was there for the LA riots and many people are, sad to say it PIG's inside. WATCH your ACE and be prepared to defend yourself!

  17. Ned,

    http://tonkaseafoods.com/

I purchased a 2 month supply (60 cans) of King and Chinook. Has a shelf live of 8-10 years. Tested it out and was pleasantly surprised how good it was right out of the can.

  18. As I understand it, if the US dollar crashes, then all shiat currencies will crash along with it. They're all tied together. Although countries with resources will fare better than those without. Too bad our retarded "leaders" sold all of our(Canada)gold.

Couldn't hold back if I wanted to. These things beg to be modded, heavily. Conversion parts already on the way. Should be easier than my S308. That was a real bitch.

  22. Morgan exactly.
I see his smug mug over at Kitco, merrily getting interviewed like all is well. That chameleon needs to get called to account.
Did he just forget his crashing silver call to $25?
Put him in the same box with Nadler, and mail it to Eccles C.O.D.

  23. Hee Haw from Bretton Woods...

Bretton Woods was such a bore. First of all we were supposed to be booked for a Luxury Family Suite, but of course they fucked that up. We ended up in the Princess Carolyn Room where I had to share a single queen bed with My Little Bed Hog. Blyght insisted that Princess Carolyn's original 4 poster bed was the perfect opportunity to invite her coven over for a night of room service and "calling the corners". She called BB, Barry, and Barry on her iPhone 6 and told them she would drawing a bath. I was glad that I had a date lined up. Justin and I (Timberlake not Bieber) had an 8pm reservation at "The Dining Room". Dinner was nice, but when Justin found out I had been two-timing him with Chord Overstreet he dumped me and I started to cry. He broke out in special rendition of "Cry Me a River" and left "The Dining Room". I headed back to our room. I ended up losing a glass slipper on the way in a desperate attempt to avoid a run in with Hill and Bill. When I got back to my room my key wouldn't work. I am sure that Blyght demagnetized while I was getting ready so that I wouldn't interrupt her little seance. Well after all I had been through I wasn't having it. I kicked the door in with my one bare foot to find Blyght, BB, Barry, and Barry all perched upon separate bedposts while an undisclosed person or entity was gyrating between the sheets. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door. I ended up sleeping in the bathtub where I had to use a washcloth as a pillow and a towel for my blanket. I did not hear much about what happened at the meetings but I did overhear My Little Mover and Shaker talking about Soros changing our currency from fiat to a currency back by Gigi's Gourmet Cupcakes. Aside from the news about the cupcakes, it was all so horrible. I may not even attend Bilderberg this year.

  24. I agree with Tuscany, it's great to have this board with like minded people. People I work with literally laugh at me when I talk about silver and the coming crash of the dollar. They are more interested in buying stocks and worrying if they have enough in their pension plans for retirement. The people close to me I tell them to buy silver but they don't. I can imagine the grief I would get if I suggested to stockpile food and water. HAARP, chemtrails, solar flashes, Mayan Calander, earthquakes, nuclear meltdowns, FUCK! who knows what to think anymore, just be prepared.

  25. It can't hurt to have some physical metal. If bad things don't happen, than the metal is still worth money and can be sold easily anyhow; you just might not make as much profit as if you put it into other things.

And if th bad stuff -does- happen, you have something you might actually be able to use as currency.

  26. I've only got 60 oz. of American Eagles and Buffalo Rounds (combined) then I have 2 rolls of Franklin and Kennedy halves. I'm kicking myself for not buying more when silver was under $10. So now I buy 5 oz. every 2 weeks with my paycheck.

I'm hoping to have 100 oz of silver by the end of the year. It's not a lot, but it's more than the people who laugh at me for telling them to protect themselves with precious metals have.
