SRSrocco's Report: Silver Update

After the big selloff in silver over the past two weeks, the commercial net short position has dropped to levels almost as low as they were in Nov 2008 when silver was at $9.00 an ounce. The COT Report shows these figures on every Friday from positions held on the close of trading on Tuesday. There are several categories of traders, but the most important are either the Large Speculators or the Commercials. The large speculators are big hedge funds and etc. The Commercials are the bullion banks themselves. JP Morgan is famous for holding the largest percentage of Commercial shorts of all the banks.

In these two main categories, there are LONG and SHORT positions. If someone is long, they want to price to head higher, if they are short they are hedging their positions or they want the price to go lower. When there is a great deal of short positions, it normally means the price will be heading lower at some point. When the total short positions are low, the opposite is true.

In the graph above the term LCNS stands for subtracting the Commercial Longs from the Commercial Shorts, which gives us a Commercial Net Short Position. Here we can see that after the big selloff, the LCNS is now almost as low as it was in 2008. Now that a good percentage of the LCNS have been liquidated, a firm bottom may be taking place.

Also if you notice over the past four years the LCNS line (blue color) has been above the price of silver line (Pink color)…especially when silver hit $21 in March of 2008. That trend is now firmly below the silver price line and I believe it will remain there until we finally get our COMEX SILVER DEFAULT.

Silver Eagle Sales Continue to Fly off the Shelves

October turned out to be the second best sales month behind Jan. Already in the first three business days of Oct, the US Mint sold over 1 million silver eagles. This averages out to about to 330,000 silver eagles sold by the US Mint a day. If the price of silver falls from here, we could see that daily sales figure move upwards of a half a million. Even at an average of 200,000 in October, that would be over 7 million for the month. I don’t believe the US Mint has this sort of capacity. So, if the price of silver continues to fall to the $26-$27 level, I would bet the US Mint will have to suspend the sale of the Silver Eagles until 2012.

The United States produced 38.5 million ounces of silver in 2010, and it looks like the US Mint just might sell over 40 million silver eagles in 2011….more than the total U.S. domestic supply. Some have said that by law the US Mint must use silver mined in the United States. This is no longer true. I spoke with the Public Relations person at the US Mint a few weeks ago and he told me that in 2002, the Senate came up with a new law that allows the US Mint to purchase silver for their rounds from other sources.

The authorizing legislation for the American Silver Eagle bullion program stipulated that the silver used to mint the coins be acquired from the Defense National Stockpile with the intent to deplete the stockpile's silver holdings slowly over several years. By 2002, it became apparent that the stockpile would be depleted and that further legislation would be required for the program to continue. On June 6, 2002, Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) introduced bill S. 2594, "Support of American Eagle Silver Bullion Program Act," "to authorize the Secretary of the Treasury to purchase silver on the open market when the silver stockpile is depleted." The bill was passed by the Senate on June 21 and by the House on June 27 and signed into law (Pub. L. No. 107-201, 116 Stat. 736) by President Bush on July 23, 2002 (source-Wikipedia)

Peak Silver Article Finished & will be Released when the New SGS Website is Up

The article turned out to be 26 pages long. There are over 20 graphs and charts with plenty of detail on where we are heading with global silver production. Many analysts say global silver production will increase for the next decade. If we get that Depression in the next year or two…which I believe we are, all bets are off for increasing silver production.

This might seem bearish for the price of silver as the so called “DEFLATIONISTS” keep regurgitating this over and over. Very few analysts realize we are heading into a Hyperinflationary Depression…and not a deflationary one. It’s fricken hilarious to hear on CNBC and etc that this week is deflationary because Ben isn’t printing money…or next month will be inflationary because he is. That is all BS folks. Don’t forget what the biggest aspect of hyperinflation is….and that is the “LOSS OF FAITH IN THE CURRENCY”. You don’t need continued printing to make inflation…you just need loss of confidence and the whole house of fiat cards comes tumbling down.

It’s time to get your physical silver before the rest of the world wakes up from the nightmare that nicely printed Monopoly money and US Treasuries and not safe havens, but rather a Ponzi scheme several hundreds of thousands of times worse than Bernie Madoff.

While the rest of the world in Canada watches the opening NHL game Montreal vs Toronto, I will spend some time on here and take a look at what the hell is going on, as to calm some confusion and offer some hope.

Firstly, today I presented a few trades, and literally pin pointed the SLV long today...follow the minute chart, I told you guys to buy after a breakout over the $30.35. At first attempt, it hit the .35 and then they smacked it in the early session, then we broke out and everyone should have enjoyed that profit of 3-4% within hours. I also notified you about the SVM trade and it riding the MA. I would now also like to point out that if its such a massive mega fraud, why has the short interest declined from 22 million to 1 million in 2 weeks? Right, go back to my Shorting 101 article. Those who pitched your calls or longs you live and learn. Even when my calls were down 80% on it, I never pitched all of them. There is a time and place for selling, I doubted from the first sniff at the anonymous letter that it was all bullshit. Hopefully KPMG can release their findings and put this to rest so we can see $20 by year end if the equity market doesn't go to zero first.

So what happened to all my bearish bank stocks? Like TD, MS etc. Well, not even I can forecast an equivalent of $1 trillion being printed by the ECB today. Whenever you have central bank intervention in the 'free' markets, your plans go to shit, you eat short term losses and move on. Although the overall downside channel trend remains intact for the financials, it will be tomorrow's BLS # that separates the men from the boys AND will start the next leg movement EITHER way.

Today Tinka touched an intraday of .26 cents, when yesterday I bought some .25's. 28% today later I thank anyone who pitched them into my bid. I told you that the bid would get aggressive on THURSDAY. I guess today was THURSDAY not yesterday's Wednesday, THURSDAY. Again, Tinka's results were based on holes that are NOT being drilled on the chimu land. People who placed their bets and lost move on, those that are in now or remain resilient, lets see what happens. All juniors got smoked the past few weeks. Tinka was never going to be an exception to this junior tier liquidity rule. They never do, ever. So lesson learned in junior mining shares.

The physical metal scene has been working exactly like I said it would on its negative feedback loop. A quick eye would see that the customer withdraw at the comex today registered a 1,052,240oz. Not bad, havent seen this in a while.

As I type this I am looking at the finished new site. Its done. Testing is commencing. My programmer pulled through, and we are doing our best to get this live asap. I'm not going to give a time or day, just know at any time you refresh this, the live link may pop up and take you off to the virtual play ground...we will be giving away some silver maples, and you will be notified on how you can accumulate your phyzz stack (hint hint).

So off I go to get this thing wrapped up. And as a reminder, all irrational low volume exuberance ends badly. Dont make the mistake and by the tops of descending channels. Am I in 2008 Lehman days?

Where to start. Well, lets start with an update on the site. After speaking with my programmer everyday for 3 straight months, he has almost puked up him liver, so I hear. The frustration boils within me.

Tinka came out with its first 5 drills today, and of coarse the near sighted moronic daytraders dumped some because they 'didnt hit the outstanding grades." First off, those drills were not even from the Zone 1 land which already encompasses the 43-101, especially they HAVE NOT BEEN DRILLING ON TOP OF THE CHIMU. Fuck, I have to spell it out sometimes. They are moving the drill there now, and with the revised 43-101 with the decreased cut off grade, selling this here is either incredibly smart or incredibly stupid. After getting off the phone with the big boys, they mentioned that the overall market sucks right now, which I agree and will bring down ALL stocks, especially juniors which I have been saying for 2 months now. The good thing they said was Tinka is FULLY FUNDED, and drilling is still moving along now to start testing the Chimu. IF YOU CANT HACK 50% up and down in junior mining stocks, SELL IT on open tomorrow please and move on. Its funny how all the questions come out when we go down from .50-.25 but no one says a single word from .25-.75, funny how that it. I remain extremely long. The bid will get aggressive into Thursday. This is a turtle race sometimes and now that the market is sucking the liquidity out of the TSX, the juniors are first up for liquidation. ALL JUNIORS WENT DOWN TODAY. Look at GPL. Nuff said. Is it done? Who knows.

I was extremely active on twitter today. Most saw that I closed out my XOM PUT today with a healthy 120% gain since Thursday. I also initiated an SLV PUT at 2:45 today. Great fuckin timing that was as the SP catches a 4.1% bid in one hour. Right. On what? OH right more rumors of some bank being bailed out that I dont even remember the name of it. So I lightened that up by 75% and keeping the others encase Blythe has something up her sleeve for the rest of this week. SO yes I took a loss on that, small and quick. I also told people to start looking at TD bank. That morning short was a joke, I'm assuming people made something on that.

I was perplexed at the Ben Bernank today. Quiver lip and all, he managed to still say THEY ARE NOT PRINTING ANYTIME SOON. If you didnt hear that, go back and rewind the tape. HES NOT PRINTING. They need more carnage. More pain. More begging. More crying. More middle class death and poverty.

Wall Street knew this. So how do you save a dieing breed? Just make shit up. Go back to 2008 when Lehman was failing. Do you know how many times that went up and down 10-20% daily like Margin Stanley is doing now? Its playing out again. Its the last bastion of hope. We might rally to the MA or the trend line now and keep going down this death trend lower in between those lines. They are just buying time with hollow stories. Its 2008 all over again.

This brings me to the metals. Thus far all the major metals names have been wrong. They were all planning on the printing presses being turned on full blast. Embry today came out and said silver is full retard. Sucked dry. He thinks its a bottom. Either way I purchased 10 more monster boxes last week. Regardless if we go lower or not. In fact I wouldn't mind it to go lower, my PUTS will pay out and I will buy more. See thats the beauty of stacking the phyzz, you dont sell it-yet!

And if I see another 1980's comparison of gold and silver again saying its the same thing, I will have a snap show.

I have been away all day. I was promised promises. None came through. My programmer is missing (in a hospital I hear?), and the new site lays in limbo. So I will do my commentary on here, extremely bummed until I get that phone call. So to those that were hoping for a site today, sorry. I will know more later tonight. I apologize that I have cried wolf on this like 20 times, but I am at the mercy of the computer literate right now that, so I have been told, one month longer on ANY website deadline should be added as a rule of thumb. So any day now I guess. Fuck sakes.

Where to start.

I would like to start with the physical demand of both the metals, which is NOWHERE even CLOSE to being represented in the paper metals. Below I have taken this clip from Jesse's Cafe Americain...:

I now want to reiterate what I have been telling my loyalists for about 2 months now. Morgan Stanley will be the next to go. I will now call it Margin Stanley from here on out. If anyone listened to the Bears 7 video about Bank of America, you are now much richer from shorting it BAC.

So all you really have to do is look at that yellow trend line and until we see a trend reversal, its a sell. I am NOT a buyer of ANY bank stocks. NONE. Will they bounce hard and squeeze johnney late commer shorts, sure they will and it will be accompanied by rumors of Greek saviors or Fed printing that will be short lived unless QE4 arrives out of the blue.

Here let take a look now at something that we may want to start looking at. For example, the Canadian banks. Let take TD's weekly chart (see below):

We never did re test those 2009 lows did we? Well, you guessed it, if you think we are goign to have another serious credit crunch, we will test those lows. Place your bets accordingly, we did not have the Ben Bernanke PUT back then.

As of right now, in which I wish I had more time to implement these trades into the VIP section of the new site (which will not be functional yet), I own the $70 PUT on XOM. I have had this since Thursday. Most would have sold the candle when it pierced the $74 and through the MA(aka the fuckjob candle), but I held as the market was rolling over and I saw the bots triggered short stop losses as per usual on the MA play. Keep trading simple guys look at this chart. Channel trading is very confusing to most people as they try to buy and short the breaks instead of the opposite. Its actually a free money gift given to you by the algos.

Clearly you see the trend right? The top end is easy to exit and re short as the bottom on this one. Most of the 'wicks' through the trendline and the FJC (Fuck job candles). You need to understand the fuckjob candle before daytrading. It may the most valuable tool you can learn.

This is the stuff I want to develop in the VIP section of the trading section, as I hope the beginners can see value to it.

I have not yet received that phone call for the new site, so I'm off to smash some skulls and figure out WTF is going on.

This report comes to you on the eve of what I suspect is the last day on this blogspot as we are off to the www.silvergoldsilver.com site. After mulling over the COT report, and then making many many phone calls, something is not sitting right with me.

Lets first post up the COT report, I have copied it straight over from Harveys Blog (click here for more):

There are a few things that are not lining up for me. You know me, I could sit here and cheerlead this to death right now, but thats not my place. Do I think silver will get to $500? Yes. By next week? No. So dont shoot the blog that calls it the way we see it when we talk a negative piece.

Whats strikingly weird is Fridays PM trades. Gold was okay late into the bell, but silver was not. The weird part is that the big boys most certainly get the COT report before its printed. Dont think for one second they dont. This is the scary part. Such a 'bullish' COT report for both metals, some would argue the best COT report to memory. So why the weak Friday close? Equities bring the PM's down with them late in the day? If you go back and do some research, after such bullish COT reports we usually catch a major bid. This is my disconnect.

My second disconnect was the amount of contracts covered by the Morgue et al. And in order for this amount to be covered, you need and equal amount to be sold (captain obvious).

This takes me back to 2008. On boring days on the desk, we would pick on an illiquid stock, a few people would short it while we bought it, then we would switch rolls. Washing was common, the regulators didnt give a shit because we gave the ECN's so many liquidity credits and no one was getting hurt. When the warnings would come in, no one cared...seriously they had bigger problems as these were the days leading up to the 2008 clusterfuck.

Que todays COT report. I have a suspicion that, although it looks like the Morgue et al. is covering that massive pile of shorts, its their own selling they are covering. Most of the paper selling happened in illiquid markets. Not sure if this many contracts could be filled they way they were.

Mark my word: if Gold and silver correct down from here, the COT report from here on out is null and void.

If we go up here and never look back, you can call this a call a complete miss.

TA on the paper silver chart

Although I feel I am wasting my time right now, I will try to help out the paper traders here with a TA look at the paper silver chart. This is the daily.

From the April Run up we had what calls irrational paper exuberance. Trust me, I think Silver should already be at $200, but on paper and using algorithms, that run was fast, and the charts clearly show it needed to retrace to the MA. That being said, without 5 margin hikes in 8 days I think we could have kept going to $100 and beyond, but then Blythe and JPM would be toast and thats the end of that story.

RSI: Shows a decline to the 30 from the top in about 6 trading days. This has never pierced the 70 line since, mainly because as the summer went on, so did the margin hikes, and that's the end of that story. What we have now is an oversold RSI under the 30 algo, which means we are do for a pop. Could it move lower? Yup, it could stay in that red under 30, just as long it stayed in the blue 80 in April.

MACD: Fully confirms the RSI. BUT, in May we had to come down from the 3 into the -2. Now we have gone from 1 to -2 and counting. This tells me their is ZERO speculation left in this trade. The specs were wiped out in May, never to return. The margins have killed this trade.

Price: Although the recent move down felt bigger, it wasnt. And take away the $26 overnight Blythe 3 am print, and its looks a lot better. The May session was worse.

Where do we go from here?

In a normal market, we would bounce and test the upper band of that MA between $36-39 and then retrace and test again. My heart tells me this is it and to buy here, which I did (physical not paper). The reason I have not purchased paper silver here is that it may go lower. But my GUT also tells me we may see more downside on an Asian Holiday attack and especially before the Oct 18th CFTC meeting.

If you are thinking to yourself, how does that make any sense, I'll tell you why it makes PERFECT sense:

I am now rotating paper profits (and losses) into physical. So I am cost averaging so to speak into the physical metal 90% silver 10% gold. The reason for my recent purchase was because of a 45% move down in 3 days. Thus, it was on sale 45%. If you are waiting for the 100% sale to $0, you must be in Disney land.

But but but some say its going lower! So. You think I have the time to sell my physical? D0 you think I'm stacking my phyzz to sell it now? I'm buying EOW (End Of World) Insurance. I will pay my premium (PUT options) and one day, get it all back. Now you know where I stand on this 'trade': I think Chairsatan Bernank will print more along with everyone of his central bank cronies. They must keep the ponzi inflation going-deflation is NOT an option, I hope everyone realizes this. Some say he is done printing. I say he is not. Thats not to say he might be done this year. This is a long term turtle race play. Get used to it. Its made this way to shake shake shake you.

So from here if we see $22-24, which we might, I will buy more. And then at that point I will not sell my physical either. I will sell my PUT options, and buy even more phyzz, thanking Blythe for her fantastic derivative insurance scam. But dont be so stupid not to buy some here, as this MIGHT be the bottom. And I dont want to hear ANY crying if it is, and then see the donkeys chase it up and start buying at $40-$50 again! Dont want to hear it, because on a weekly chart we are forming a very long doji which might encompass the bottom here.

I am past the point of buying phyzz for investment. I can buy paper silver option and juniors for investment. I buy the phyzz for security, wealth preservation, and survival.

I sat here starring at a blank screen for 20 minutes trying to figure out what to write. I could pull out charts, but that would be kinda redundant and useless. I could pull up options, but thats now a complete disaster on premiums. I am going to be honest. I was away from my desk all day, and for the first time in months, I did not care what the 'price' was. It is simply an illusion now. And I'm not saying this because its gotten spanked either. If it was at $340, I would be saying the same thing-I have accepted the fact that the POS and POG is now an arbitrary number.

Sure some will come on here and say its not, and I'm wrong and this and that. I agree to that too. Some still trade in the paper game (as do I), but my mindset has shifted slightly now to the tune of complacency. This could because I am now about 70% physical and 30% paper.

So listen to me closely for those still fucking around trying to scalp $100 in this retarded, manipulated, clusterfuck: The more phyzz you stack, the more you stop caring. The less you stop looking at the Spot prices tick, by tick, by tick.

Just have faith that the buying will increase on lower prices. And everything will be A-okay. Buying phyzz here is like buying EOW (End of World) Insurance.

Federal rules set to rein in speculative commodities trading face further delays, as regulators struggle to finalize the controversial proposal amid threats of legal challenges.
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission decided on Tuesday to push back an Oct. 4 meeting during which the agency had been scheduled to vote on the rules. The commission’s chairman, Gary Gensler, is expected to notify his fellow commissioners that the agency is likely to take up the proposal on Oct. 18.
Bart Chilton, a Democratic member of the agency and a devoted supporter of the so-called position limits plan, lamented the delay. “I continue to be troubled by the pace of implementing position limits as Congress has directed,” he said.
The agency, which must enact some 50 new rules under the Dodd-Frank financial regulatory overhaul, has struggled to keep pace. It already announced plans to push some rules into 2012 — a delay of more than six months.
The agency’s decision on Tuesday was the latest in a long line of setbacks for the position limits plan. Under the Dodd-Frank Act, the limits were supposed to kick in during January. Then the commission planned to vote on the proposal in September, but delayed it to further to bolster the cost-benefit section of the rule.
“I want to be sensitive to the costs,” Scott O’Malia, a Republican member of the commission, said recently.
The position limits would cap the amount of futures contracts that a single trader or firm can hold on 28 commodities like oil, wheat and corn, a response to wild price fluctuations that can hurt consumers at the gas pump and in the supermarket. Existing limits apply to only nine items.
The proposal has emerged as one of the most contentious matters stemming from Dodd-Frank. The regulator received a barrage of letters about its plan, some 13,000 comments in total, some from supporters like Senator Carl Levin, Democrat of Michigan, who wrote that the plan was a “critical step to stop excessive speculation.”
But many responses came from unhappy Wall Street trade groups. Some industry lobbyists and lawyers note that Dodd-Frank leaves it up to the agency to enforce position limits only “as appropriate,” raising the question of whether limits are at all in fact necessary.
Other groups have even issued thinly veiled threats of legal action. In March, for instance, the Futures Industry Association urged the commission to scrap its position limits plan, saying it “may be legally infirm.”
The threats have resonated at the agency in the wake of a recent court ruling that struck down another Dodd-Frank rule. From Harvey today: "The total gold comex open interest fell by a tiny 8161 contracts despite the huge raid on Thursday. The new open interest rests at Friday night at 489,588 from Thursday's level of 497,749. The front options exercised month of September saw its OI fall from 123 to 73 for a loss of 50 contracts. We had 40 deliveries on Thursday so we finally had some minor cash settlements. The next front delivery month in gold is October and strangely the OI did not fall much, settling at 29,569 from Thursday's level of 30,297. It sure looks like some of the players here are anxious to obtain some physical metal.
The next big delivery month is December and this month took the brunt of the attack on Thursday. The OI fell from 317,182 to 307,786 for a loss of close to 10,000 contracts. The estimated volume on Friday was a monstrous 320,725 which followed Thursday's confirmed volume of 298,057. The banking heroes supplied most of the non backed paper hoping to see many gold leaves fall from the tree.

The total silver comex OI fell by only 768 contracts as these holders seem to be in strong hands. The new OI is a multi year low. Strange that bullion dealers and mints are running out of metal and OI which is a measure of demand is at these extreme lows. The silver comex has been nothing but a physical market for those that wish metal. The leverage is totally gone and after Monday night it will surely be gone from the silver market. The new OI rests this weekend at 110,785 falling from Thursday's level of 111,553. The front delivery month of September saw its OI fall from 228 to 213 for a loss of 15 contracts. We had 19 deliveries on Thursday so we lost zero contracts to cash settlements.
The front December month saw its OI fall slightly from 73,153 to 72,255. This is a minor fall in OI considering the massive wallop the price of silver endured on Thursday. The estimated volume at the silver comex was a monster, coming in at 104,984 with our banking cartel providing the short paper. The confirmed volume on Thursday was also high at 87,399."

Contrast that commentary from these figures:

1. April 29th: "The total open interest on the silver comex fell steeply by 6,132 contracts from 135,763 to 129,712. There is no doubt that the leverage for the longs suffered a bit but so did those shorts that have to pay margin requirements."

2. May 6th: "The total silver comex open interest shocked everyone with the announcement that the OI rose by 4279 contracts from 130,525 to 134,804."

So here's your clue: When the OI surges, we can say that we have found a short term bottom, and that would be a good entry point.

If anyone is willing to take the task and go through Harvey's archive and correlate both the front month and out months OI's to the price of silver, please throw on a excel spreadsheet and email me asap that would be fantastic.

May was a speculating liquidation. This week was NOT-it was a green lights go ahead behind the closed doors of Gold diversion to kill silver. I've never seen anything more obvious.

This Weeks COT is useless as it doesn't show us the latter half of the week. I would be shocked not to see a major + figure in the silver and gold commercial new shorts added. I guess we have to wait another week and find out how bad the manipulation really is. If there isnt a huge surge in commercial shorts added, I will no longer be reporting on the COT report, as this may now be a tool of the EE.

Word on the street is that the negative feedback loop is full gear. I cant understand why they just dont start covering their shorts and get this over with already, days like today are not helping them.

The big argument of the day was this was a liquidation events. For the rooks, this means that a hedge fund, got smoked in another asset class, had his margin call because of the loss, and now turned to the only other asset that is till positive and sells it, very very quickly.

Today's event, in my opinion may have been both. I am still waiting for the data, but it looks like in the COMEX their was an inordinate amount of SHORTING. Not SELLING of Long Positions. So for those of you in manipulation denial, you are WRONG.

Silver was already liquidated in May via 5 margin hikes. This was already done.

Now the argument is- was the GOLD trade liquidated? More likely than silver, 100%. This is where people are getting very very confused. Add the fact in that a rumored Margin Hike was in, and you have the Blythe Green light go to pound this thing down 27% in 2 days with relentless SHORT SELLING. NOT SELLING. Clearly a HUGE difference. FIND ME ANOTHER COMMODITY THAT LOST EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO 27% in 2 days.

There are no weak hands left in silver. No one has the necessity to sell it. Again, this already happened in May. The leaves were already shaken.

This brings me full circle to the negative feedback loop created by the same people who short it. The lower silver goes, the more PHYSICAL people are buying. Thus, get ready for more and more and more of this. Down to $25, up to $40, back down to $38, up to $50, back down to $42, up to $75, back down to $45. And each time its gets smoked by 25% in 2 days it will have these three things in common:

a. The majority of the selling happens at 3 am EST when the LBMA opens, which has ZERO liquidity.
b. This selling happens in a COMEX expiration week.
c. The Morgue owned CME hikes margins.

But what happens when on these so called shake outs, they are actually making it easier for China, India, Russia ETC and the rest of the world to buy the fucking dip (physical)?

Just got off the phone with my dealer today, and two others now. They had their busiest days in VOLUME and SALES ever recorded. Usually they say down days like this are dead since everyone is scared.

Good for fucking you America. Finally you are catching on.

Short Memories, the Golden Truth for clarity

Everyone always has a very very short memory when they loose money, but they seem to be invincible when they make it effortlessly. We are here to remind everyone what is really going on, the emotions you are feeling, and the thoughts you may be having. Certainly this isnt the first time this has happened.

We are in a COMEX expiration on Tuesday. That being said, 11% is a little off the charts, and I commend Captain Masters. Clap, clap.

Need to make a few things clear. Here at SGS, we stack PHYZZ. We buy going up, we buy going down, we buy going all around. Price is virtually meaningless to us. I notice a ton of complaining from people that are trying to trade the paper game. And I notice NO complaining from people who hold the phyzz.

Quite the dichotomy we have here. People are happy and sad but they are holding perceptibly the same thing-yet its so far from the truth.

Here is the formula, and I will repeat it again, and again, and again.

Stack Phyzz, put it away, and pretend it doesn't exist till you need it.
Trade options, juniors, and netflix (lol-I am actually getting very short term bullish for a quick trade on this pig by the way) to make ends meet, or whatever you choose to do with it I dont really care.

Just know that the more you stack the phyzz, and the more you get away from the charts, calls, picks, and ticks, the more healthy you will be in the mind. An inner peace knowing your stash is stashed and you are 'okay.'

Some of my trades are winners, some are losers. I try to mitigate short term pain (bad trade) with an options 'insurance' calls or puts. I keep it simple. For instance, yesterday after the announcement of no printing and twist commenced, the market gradually started to sell off. I am long SLV calls at the $40 strike Jan 2012, I have lots of time for these to get in the money(unless the people catch on that its a fraud then it will go to zero). So instead of dumping them all and paying commissions to those assholes, I simply hedge. I bought calls in the VXX, knowing full well the market would get obliterated. Did I know that silver would get pumped at 3 am along with it, and then again when the COMEX opened, (yes), but no lol-let alone 11%, of course not. If I knew that I would have bought 5 million PUTS, and I would have shut this blog down bc I would be on a fucking Island that I own for the rest of my human life enjoying grapes and coronas. My hedge, worked out to net 101% overnight and I exited the position around 3 pm. Thus, I did not lose anything on the SLV 'loss' I still hold. If you cant comprehend what I am talking about, but you are trading the things we are talking about and what others are trading in the comments section, I would advise you to stop-immediately. That will land you in the poor house quicker then putting it all on Red 16 on the wheel. Take it slow. Also, I have some people asking me to post my positions. That will be counter productive, as I am a lightening trader on 80% of my trades. By the time I post it, it may be gone already. For the longer term trades, I will do this on the new site.

The best advice I can give is this; take it slow. Stop trying to hit a home run when you are still in the minors. Wait a little, gain that experience and you will start hitting some good trades. The market will be there tomorrow. Its not going anywhere. There is NO rush. Secondly, Gold and Silver are the anti-crist to central banks. The volatility going forward, like I have mentioned several thousand times....wait for it...it may not be for you. Onto the metals.

I would first like to point out that Sprotts premium to NAV is 24.38%. The market is obviously telling us something with this product.

Is there a reason silver got smashed today? Sure. Again see the link above, but my insiders are telling me the heat is on at the JPM offices to cover those contracts. 11%. Seriously? I mean it was for the most part a leader by 40% loss than 80% of all the other comods. Really? THe little silver coins? Really? Does supply and demand drop that quick?

If you haven't guessed yet, the silver trade is the epicenter of this entire financial disaster thats looming ever so closely. Bets are made that could send shockers (thumb in butt) throughout the worlds markets. The tiniest little silver market has turned into the biggest trade of this decade.

If you are looking for some additional answers, or crystal ball solutions, I can only offer this: Take a break from the markets and especially this trade. In time, whether that be in November, March or whenever, this will all be in the past. Nothing has changed. I remain a buyer of the physical metal, at any price on big red days like today. Consider them gifts. Could we see $20, $5, $17.38 again? You bet. I am waiting for them to get there? Not a fucking chance. I will buy 20 monster boxes at $30 before I'd wait for $20.

I have added a new feature on the new site at the last minute in which my programmer wanted to murder me. So, we have moved the launch to Monday for vigorous testing over the weekend. No rush. I want things to be as smooth as possible, granted there will be glitches, but those will be growing pains. Moving on.

Todays market action spoke volumes, from 2:30-4. The bank stocks, especially Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan got hammered. I am telling you right now, I see a lot of selling in Morgan Stanley. Even when futures turn up, I see someone trying to unload it. Something is not right with Morgan Stanley, and I suspect we should be hearing of its shit coming down the tube sometime in the near future.

As for the silver and gold, we have come to that point whether someone needs to put in a strong bid, or we will be seeing $38 and $1650 shortly which at that point are my next buying opps. In silver we are hugging an ascending trend line and MA, and in gold we are close the MA bounce I want to see.

The next two days should paint an interesting picture, whether todays candles were 'fuck job' candles we will see tomorrow. I suspect they are not, as I put on a new trade for the $50 VXX call OCT to hedge my SLV calls that are following the market which is in a new state of Barney Rubble - trouble.

The fundamentals for the PM's have gotten stronger, I am not worried. At all. My PHYZZ stack sleeps well and I wouldn't mind buying 5 more monster boxes at lower prices.

News that caught my attention today is Click here for ...the Canadian Mint has projected this years MAPLES ONLY sales in silver to be 30% HIGHER than last years as its on pace for another record. Gold is tracking similar demand from last years sales.

So here we are again, going back to the basics, back to what really matters. The PHYZZ and this shows me that we are on a trajectory that the COMEX, LBMA, and all the other crony fraud vessels will not be able to replicate and just pull out of their ass when they need it.

All eyez will be on Shalom Bernanke tomorrow. Again the citizens of the United States have given this man God-like power, but do not have the balls to take it back from this private corporation. So what this means, is that the fate of your country, children, and future lay in the hands of this man (and the men behind the curtain that tell him what to do I know blah blah blah) but lets just blame him for now its much easier this way.

Honestly, last time was a non event, I really do think this time will be the event. I will go on the record to say there will be no money printing tomorrow. We need more pain for that - just take a quick glance at Netflix chart, and you will see what will happen with now printing.

Ben needs to divert more attention away from the USA's failed policies and degenerate government. We need WAY more capitulation. Seeing as how banks stocks behaved today, they are already sniffing a down draft.

I could be totally wrong (which I hope I am) and we could have some twist or QE announcement.

A few weeks ago I told my loyal readers that big news would be coming out of the CFTC back doors. Well, it looks like someone was turned again. This should NOT be shocking, silver longs can only one day HOPE justice is served, position limits are implemented, and we become wealthy beyond imagination. But not so fast. That would mean someone takes the hit (JP et al), and surely they will not just allow themselves to loose a few hundred billion overnight.

"The CFTC has already missed a deadline in the Dodd-Frank law to finalize position limits. Three of the five commissioners at the CFTC, including one Democrat, have expressed skepticism that position limits can prevent large run-ups in prices.

CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler had hoped to get the measure approved in September, but now it is expected to be pushed into early October."

Good afternoon. We are 48 hrs from launching www.silvergoldsilver.com (I think). I thank all those who have donated to the cause and thank those that are about to donate as well. As the new site moves forward, it will evolve into many spheres. Especially, the forums, in which I am going to extend the topic list to more touchy subjects if people get bored of silver and gold on some days and would like to just vent it out on another subject.

There has been some confusion as of late regarding the VIP tab. The VIP tab will not be functional on launch. That will be for a month down the road, and the information there will be privileged info that will be paid for such as a newsletter, video's, picks, etc. Paying subscribers will gain an edge before its release to the public a few days or weeks later. Were talking a very minor payment if you want to be a part of the VIP such as $5-10 a month, or something along those poverty lines. The money will be used to maintain the site.

If you do not choose to be a part of the VIP, the blog, forums and chat will still be available for free. So no worries. People thought the entire site was pay only, THIS IS NOT THE CASE.

Gold:

The Large Specs were caught long earlier and when the chart double topped so to speak they started pitching longs and taking provide to the tune of a massive 13,062 contracts. They also decided to add 2,462 short.

The large commercials did the very opposite: They added 9,351 long and covered 7,895 contracts on the plunge again albeit.

Remember this is as of Tuesday the 13th. So Fridays rally was not included in this, and it seems like someone got squeezed like a sour grape in the last 3 hours of trading.

Silver:

The large specs, again, did the opposite of the commercials: They sold off 597 longs and ADDED 323 short. I am assuming they covered the majority of these on Friday.

The commercials ADDED 1288 long! and Covered 631! Ha! Seems like Fridays late day rally benefited the bankers, and the larger specs got slammed.

For those thinking silver is going to roll over and head back to $12/oz...well, I'm not seeing that in this COT. In fact, being so close to the trend line, I was expecting a massive increase in the commercial shorts. It was the opposite, which tells me, that we are still in a bullish sentiment for BOTH metals. Add in the fact, that the comex deliveries are non existent, is evident of the shortage of commercial grade metal still. They painted the chart, and shorts got killed on Friday.

The week approaching is particularly important as we have a 2 day FOMC meeting, and Thursday is Comex Options expiry. So lets play out some scenarios.

1. The Ben Bernank says some sort of print hint, or print itself or twist, or whatever. The PM's should explode to the upside along with the Bank stocks. Those that have shorted the PM's for options expiry beatdown will be squeezed like lemons, seeds and all. This will pave the way for $50-75 silver and $2200-$2500 Gold by New Years Day.

2. The Ben Bernank baulks, and says he can wait for some more printing. Markets literally implodes, Gold retraces to its MA, no idea what silver does, Euro region literally catches on fire and the 2009 lows will be welcomed with at least 2 major EU banks failures, and the secession of Greece by New Years Day. After Greece leaves, the domino effect will be catastrophic. I dont care to paint that picture.

3. The Ben Bernank paints a rosy picture, no markets buy it, but no markets sell it. Non Event.

So position yourself accordingly to YOUR plan, keep buying the phyzz, and pray for the printing presses-its the path of least resistance for all markets right now.

I have already done a phone interview with an expert on the metals market. This will be available when the site is launched as an introductory series.

U.S. Oil and gas in 1930 was 100/1, in 1970 it fell to 30/1 and in 2000 it had fallen to 11/1. Today I would assume it is below 10. This means for every unit of energy invested in oil or gas it now provides less than 10 units of energy. This will be explained more in my article and why it is so important of a factor.

Ernst & Young's latest mining and metals report cites resource nationalism as miners' top risk for 2011 while skills shortage, capital allocation and infrastructure access continue to dominate the business agenda.
In the past 12-18 months, 25 nations have increased or announced their intention to mining taxes or royalties, as some have invoked "use it or lost it" clauses.
Governments worldwide are looking to increase local participation in mining projects "and we think this trend will only increase," said the E&Y report, "Business risks facing mining and metals 2011-2012.
.....Infrastructure access climbed from its sixth ranking in 2010 mining business risk to third among the 2011-2012 risks. "The lack of available infrastructure means that production cannot get to the markets where the demand is," said the report.
"A lack of sufficient rail networks appear to be the largest global bottleneck," said E&Y. "However, if the sector is meet the expected supply challenges for the expected growth in demand from the rapidly developing economies, greater innovation is required to bring together producers, customers, infrastructure, operators, financiers and governments."

Did Wages Top Out with Domestic Oil?

Was it coincidence that wages topped out with domestic oil production? Perhaps not.
Yesterday we considered the possibility that it was not coincidence that the U.S. abandoned the gold standard at almost the precise point that domestic oil production topped out, launching a need for vast quantities of imported and increasingly costly oil.

Today we further that idea by suggesting that labor's share of the national income--a more important metric of household fiscal health than the widely trumpeted GDP--also topped out in that same time frame for the same reason: the economic wealth was all based on abundant cheap domestic oil. Once that foundation eroded, then a multitude of tricks were needed to create the illusion of advancing household wealth.

In future articles, I plan on tearing apart Porter Stansberry’s lousy investment advice on Shale Gas and Oil. The decline rates in both of these fields are off the charts. Remember, the US Suburban Leech & Spend Warehouse-Strip Mall Economy was designed on $20-$30 a barrel oil.

The days leading up to the FOMC 2 day announcement will be intense. Now ANYTHING can happen in between these days, although some like to think I'm Nostradamus, I'm not. Fortunately though, I think I know where they will get everyone out. It's a break of the trend line where the circle is. Its usually the day before the major run in the opposite direction after shaking all the longs, and getting all those dumb motherfuckers short-its the perfect storm for rallies like you've never seen. Usually they are on bottoms similar to MS (Morgan Stanley) candle yesterday where they penetrate the support briefly, set off some stops, gather some new moronic momos positions short, and then reverse it, turn on the buy algo's and go fuck hookers.

I have a feeling this may happen this time around. I cant possible see a scenario where we sell off again into the 30's. I just cant. We are entering the buying season for the physical, we are entering the November Comex Contract for silver, and the best month in December for Gold. Add in the fact that the world's financial systems are ready to print into oblivion to keep this ponzi going, add in the enormous commercial shorts, add in the position limits that may be changed, add in just about every black swan event, and we have whats called a TRADE ON!

I will be using any weakness that comes into the trend line to buy the physical. I am slowly distancing myself form the paper game and turning profits (and losses) into phyzz.

After seeing the metals reports I suspect a strong day for the PM's tomorrow as no leaves were shook, and the shorts will need to start covering going into this fuck job of a weekend.

Well, I told you it was going to get worse. That why I buy options. Nonetheless I hope this keeps getting smoked, b/c I will buy a shit ton soon. What a great day. Today showed that silver again bounced off a key technical area. The rest of this trading week should set the tone till the Bernanke PUT takes it toll.

Its really weird. The market seems like it wants to capitulate into the Abyss. The banks stocks literally look worse then pre-LEH death, but there always seems to be a large block buyer stepping in and buying the downdrafts. This is different than 2008. I mean if you had a heart beat and a trading account, all you had to do was hit the short key and the floodgates would open. Sometimes when I would put up my bid to cover, I would accidentally crossed in because the move was already made by the time I looked up off the hot key. I see weakness, but not like 08.

Not much else to add. Its seems like there is so much going on, but nothing happening on the NA side that we can capitalize on. I was a buyer of silver today. I'm starting to nibble, the next three days I will tell you if I'm biting.

And I hate to keep bringing this up, but the CFTC shirt changes might add some spark 4th week of September....

Find some fiat, remain calm, this is the channel on silver I have been waiting for. Should take another 2 weeks (on the chart) to fully tighten in on that formation and then its go time.

Holders of Tinka get ready, should be receiving drills at any time. 50/50 from here. Heads or tails?

Silver TA update

A lot of people are confusing my silver calls with the "Silver Update" Video's that BrotherJohnF does, please dont confuse the two.

Silver has hit the 50 day MA, it has broken my trend line. The next two days are critical for the short term trend to continue. It seems like Gold wants to gravitate to the GLD equivalent of $165 again. In such an event expect silver to get straight fucked up, again. The next two days will be critical. Get to work Blythe. I suspect the usual fuck job of crushing it intraday to set off all the sheep stops, then on we go.

No one said this was going to be easy. I remember a stock I was in that they shook the tree so many times I literally fell out and paralyzed myself. Expect nothing less then violence.

I am now coining a new term. "Crimes against Silvanity" it should be punishable similar to crimes against humanity.

I would like to open up this weekend with my thoughts on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 'attacks.' I lost a good friend, Mark Bavis, in the periphery 'attack' plane that did not strike the towers. So before anyone criticizes me, my words, my thoughts, please do remember that someone I knew is dead because of this. If at any time you believe I am being insincere to the 3000 lives or so lives that were lost please be prepared to click the 'X' at the top right of this browser, do not read anymore from here, there should be a good football game on to catch or something, dont waste your time here. Thank you for understanding that I am different, and I have spend most of my adult life researching the Federal Reserve AND the 9/11 events.

Before I start I would like to add a short clip form the LA Times on the Bavis situation:

The 9/11 'attacks' were no attacks at all. Its hard to imagine a freight liner filled with cargo to be filled with people. There is no such thing as al-Qaedaa, and some boggy moogy man behind the scenes that Obama just captured and killed. If you know your history, this should be no surprise. None. Nada. Zilch. I am assuming that 98% of all my readers are all on the same page so this should not be alarming to anyone, at all, and I will not waste away more life listing the 100 reasons that this was obviously not done by 19 hijackers with box cutters.

For the 2% of you that still remain in Disney Land, and over the last 10 years I have come to the conclusion that 9/11 was done to get out of a recession, increase domestic citizen and foreign data collecting, and to help the State of Israel continue its domestic terror on its neighbors with the help of the USA.

Lets rewind back to 2001 and the previous year of 2000. We had an EPIC Wall Street crash filled with frauds galore, and the country fell off a cliff. The attention needed to be quickly diverted from the hungry money mongering thieves to the dumb 'believe anything public.' We all know War makes money (for rich people), so the 9/11 false flag was orchestrated, the media (owned by you know who) smeared the Arab/muslim world, USA invades, defense companies charge US taxpayers $2000 for toilet seats, money is printed, and voila, you have a fake booming ponzi continuing economy again. Israel gets stronger as its AIPAC lobby buys Washington up with cheap Alan Greenspan FRN's, and continues the rape and pillage of anything in its way, and its all okayed by the USA (since Washington is now overwhelmingly run by Zionists), but NO other country...maybe England, whom is also run by you know who.

I could literally write a large dissertation on this, but I wont. I do not care for it anymore. Its old news but every year I run into those slimy little arrogant pricks that try to convince me that 9/11 was real and the natural events that occurred after it were normal.

I hope everyone realizes that the sole purpose of many of the USA's intentions right now are largely tipping the scale for Israels gain. Just know that this is my stance, and as long as we have a USA/Israel unification, YOUR old world as Americans is OVER. Just thank Michael Chertoff. And those voting for Obama this year might want to realize that the only thing he has 'changed' is the amount of Zionists in his administration.

We had a pretty neutral COT report this week. Nothing to even report. That was expected. If you look at the charts of both gold and silver we are experiencing a lot of gaps. Gaps are when the market opens at a higher or lower price that the previous session. There are gaps because Asia and Europe trade the night before and then the North American Markets open. The entire week was gapping up and down because of the volatile Europe sessions and China margins increases. Expect this to continue next week as we approach the Sept Shalom Bernanke announcement of 'easing' lol.

If you didnt notice the JPM chart, you should bring it up. This along with a few other financial stocks look like death. JPM is at lows again not seen in some time. Be very aware if you are long here.

I have picked up some AMZN puts as I am gambling on a watershed selloff in the markets next week if we have some more Greek default action. If we dont, I'll get taken to the cleaners for sure.
